I've been around in these games ... 01 : Extreme Truckers 02 : Euro Truck Simulator 03 : Germany Truck Simulator 04 : UK Truck Simulator 05 : Scania Truck Driving Simulator 06 : Rig'N'Roll 07 : Euro Truck Simulator 2 08 : American Truck Simulator Driven all these games a long time. Remember when we were amazed in 'Germany TS' ~ when, unlike the first 'Euro Truck Simulator' ~ that suddenly the flags waved in the wind ~ When we started out with C, B and finally A- trucks in 'UK TS' ~ when it was such a long haul to drive from Plymouth to Aberdeen with a s l o w C- Truck ! The last mail I received from a company ~ seeking my services in 'UK TS' : "How come you're not working for Trameri yet ?" Now ~ in 'ATS' ~ let me say that I loved the new Western Star 57X !
American Truck Simulator Should add all of México in it's updates as one map & Have Compatability with PlayStation! * outback dirt, mud, gravel roads & strip club's and diners & drive-thrus smuggling things shouldn't be left out!
New Mercedes Cascadia And WS even have the same dashboard. Also I noticed ws 57x on the outside looks almost the same like Cascadia, just few things changed, and 49x, 57x and Cascadia share the same cabin
That smartwheel was developed for the New Actros, then WS used it in the 5700XE, Freightliner put it in the New Cascadia, and now the updated version for the digital dash is in the New Actros, New Cascadia, and the 57X.
Guessing you're from Europe; we call it Blind Spot Monitoring in the US. That's why nobody knew what it was. It's hardly a 'guard', it is, a literal, monitoring setup. There's also a WIP version of AEB and ACC in the game that does need to be manually enable via Dev Console. I thought I had it turned on last night but I'm guessing not. AEB of course is Automatic Emergency Braking. Brings the truck to a near full stop when traffic stops. ACC (adaptive Cruise) matches the pace of traffic UP TO the designated cruise control speed. Just like normal cars. I like the truck, excep tthat it's only available as a 12 speed. I want my 18 speeds back.
This interior is in the game already, exterior is different, but interior is just another reskin, i hope some of new trucks will come to ets2 finally...
Because the old lighting systems were garbage. The current lighting dynamics are actually far more realistic. You could probably also use a better monitor. I'm in VR; my 'blacks' are more of a dark gray. Mildly frustrating. But needing to use my high beams in VERY poorly lit areas IS actually correct. Not supposed to be able to see without any lights at night
Yeah? Diamer Trucks North America is just a branch of Diamler-Benz AG. Diamler Trucks NA owns Freightliner and Western Star - and while we don't get Benz trucks in the USA, they do have a lot of the same interior components.
How about better graphics, lightning and more realistic features instead of copy and paste stuff? By the way the sound of it is awful, like other trucks in game.
The game engine is just archaic. The lighting IS far improved and generally more accurate than it's ever been. (but yeah I think we all agree the sound engineering is still not very good at all, even with the changes to FMOD.)
I wouldn't say they are idiotic, but yes, their sounds could be hugely improved. I'm tired of looking for mods to satisfy my needs for realistic sounds.
