Looks like a cool job but just when everyone is telling you to get this down and on the way down they change their mind and two other ppl are rushing you to get something from two different areas
That's why when lifting to pick or stow a pallet you take your foot off the drive Deadman pedal, only use one pedal at a time unless on wire guidance to avoid accidentally moving into racking or people while trying to manipulate the forks.
Unless you've done your due diligence and determined the height of your shelving, overhead obstructions etcetera, these units would be a poor investment. These are designed to be wire guided between very narrow aisles. They are far too clumsy and blind to be roaming around the warehouse in. You must plan your shelving and standardize your palletization. Otherwise you're better off making due with a just some standup reach trucks which still allow for travel and work in tight shelving bays, but still allow you to roam the warehouse as needed. If you are set up properly, however, this vehicle's ability to raise the operator up and down with the pallet relative to the shelf height will save you a ton of money in damaged or destroyed wood pallets.
so much important information to be shared here about that equipment and they decide to let the nervous guy with the shaky hands record the video with a calculator!!!OMG
That's a waste ...small reach.. or cherrypicker can get the job done faster.or that small electric 3 wheel forklift ..That's for oder pulling or pulling down pallets?
They're supposed to cut a slit in the cement in the center of the aisle so that the forklift sensor can lock into it🙈 I used to drive the crown ones in the 90s
These are setup for very narrow aisle, I can pick double what 2 regular lift drivers can do. With wire guidance don't have to steer, just focus on picks.
I found this machine useless Yes narrow isles increase warehouse space but just to order pull u need like 3 People U need someone in a seat down to move your pallets after u pick them & take them to stage maybe some another sit down to bring you empty pallets & move you pallets to go thru isles 👎 I stick to my standup reach better Raymond ok👍
