You could say that about the straight established couples as well (like Dylan and Hannah)! It was never said that they HAVE to give a rose to one another. If their relationship falls out like heterosexual relationships on the show, they wouldn’t give a rose to each other just the same. I mean how the heck did anyone expect the show to handle this otherwise???

Demi & Kristian, terrific. It was meaningful for the progress of the show in future seasons. Why was Kristina on the show? Her & Blake were basically trading roses as a friendly gesture/favor. Would like to see one or both of them back on BIP2020.

oh my lord, that Tahzjuan chickie took a profound turn... thought she was so lovely & classy on Colton's season, and I was bummed she got cut so soon, but wowwww.... yikes ::edit:: so I just watched the whole episode to get the full scope, and while Miss Tahz was cringey, I couldn't stop laughing at the hot & sweaty misery of it all, and I think deep down she was secretly laughing at it too lol she was HILARIOUS! I was literally teetering on catching my breath laughing while digging her and being completely annoyed [esp her voice] well done

I’m disappointed to see Jen going home, she’s gorgeous, well grounded etc. but I respect Chris choice. Even if we have a lot of couples, there’s no real love story yet. JPJ is special, I wish him the best even if Teashya isn’t into him anymore. She took her revanche on Colton ... with her comment about kissing ;). She made me smile, why not, it’s not so rude. I’m not sure if Derek is ready to be vulnerable again in a so short period of time, we’ll see.

Everyone saying Demi and Kristian should go home-- there's logic to your point but you have to realize there's no way they'd still be there unless the producer's didn't want them there. Plus, they have little reason to want to leave anyways? Maybe it's "unfair," but there was also little way for them to showcase a romantic relationship between an LGBTQ couple unless they did it like this. There's no way the show would turn down this opportunity, and even if they're only doing it to look good or seem progressive, it's still a huge milestone for the LGBTQ community and the Bachelor franchise in general. It's showing people that they deserve love too, and maybe it's okay to bend the rules a little to prove that.

Name one other bachelor individual who came onto the show, mentioned a past love from home, and had them brought onto the show as one of the contestants. I’m all for progression, but this is just full blown special treatment. I’ve never seen any show bend their rules to this extent. Sorry, but they should go home.

I don't believe for a second that they were casually dating. I think they were more serious and had this all planned out. That's why I think this whole thing is tacky. The BIP franchise needed to just have a Paradise season where people were open to date people of any gender and have a free for all. 😃

They're trying to reach bigger audiences while keeping up with the times--and when the opportunity arose for them to do that, they took it. Can't really blame them. But I agree with your second point, free for all is definitely the way to go.

The twist in of itself is the fact she can have someone come on lol if it was a guy she had come on she’d be told to leave and yelled at. Meanwhile blake got slack for doing nothing wrong.
