I must say mitchlin produce good products, these tyres are best for touring but they do have a lot of issues as our Indian roads don't match the standards of these tyres. 1. Very soft silica compound is used in manufacturing these and these are very prone to punchures . 2. Other companies use carbon instead of silica and indeed more of carbon lesser silica so that the tyre gets less punchures. 3. While purchasing mitchlin tyres make sure about the date of manufacturing as lot of dealers sell back dated products and indeed due to increased import duty these tyres are not available in fresh stock in India right now. 4. Continental is more recommended than mitchlin because they are manufactured in India and u can get replacement easily . 5. I have used mitchlin and from my experience I shall not suggest to any if Ur areas roads are not adequate otherwise u shall get habitual of getting tyre punchers fixed. 6. Don't promote any brand if u haven't experienced that. 7. Mitchlin are leaders in tyre making but they still haven't understood the Indian needs.
