Something Fury has going for him is that it's probably a lot easier to find sparring partners who match Usyk's attributes than sparring partners who match Fury's attributes. There's plenty of good 6'3 southpaw cruiserweights/heavyweights who can give you a similar style (although hard to get the same skill level). There aren't as many 6'7 switch hitters who are very skillful.
Usyk does not need to find skillful big men just heavy men as that all fury will have he need slow as weak punchers to match the style. This fight will be won on work ethic and tactics and Uysk is light year ahead in both.
When I heard Luke is a switch hitter, I thought that was just a nasty rumour. Thanks for clearing that up. Anyway he's still 6'9", he hasn't shrunk.🙄 And don't get too excited, he's still "an average boxer in a giant's body".
Extra 50 bucks to add to spin.... don't misunderstand me, I like Tyson, but this is just propaganda. Fury seems serious and certainly learned from Naghanu(?) ... Usyk will be more than Tyson expects...no sparring partner will be able to give him an idea...
I am a HUGE fan of Fury and Usyk. I am of the mindset that a good big man will beat a good little man. So, we will see you soon enough. You are correct, there is no way to prepare for Usyk. Neither is there a way to prepare for a 270 pound man that can move like a middleweight. This is going to be fun fight to watch. I KNEW, KNEW, KNEW that AJ was too mechanical to deal with Usyk. Usyk used the same formula twice to pick him apart. Tyson is much more fluid, has faster hands. This is going to be a beautiful fight to watch as it will be a chess match of the highest order.
3 seconds to open up another tab and google Ngannou's name but you can't even do that. I can see you're a real boxing expert who knows his stuff and has done his homework. Fantastic insight.
When Fury wins he'll have cemented himself as the best of his era. beaten 3 reining champions.. x2 time unified champion x3 time ring magazine champion.. and undisputed champion..
This Alexis bloke would be getting a few roots that’s for sure. I hope he goes well. Need more Italians up there in boxing. Lesss go Fury! Get up there my boy!
We’re hearing loads from and about Fury and his preparations for this fight. Not seen much from Usyk apart from 1 interview. I think they are both ready to go now! This wait is going to be hard for both men. It all could come down to how they train in the next few weeks. I think Usyk is going to come in at his heaviest yet, perhaps 230 pounds?
That’s a VERY interesting take. I have heard that he’s coming in closer to 240. I think that is a mistake. His advantage is his ability to move in and out. He didn’t school AJ because he was bigger. He schooled him with footwork, angles, etc. Fury is already light on his feet for a big man. You do not want to slow yourself down whatsoever when facing him. If Usyk slows down, that gives Tyson the chance to lean on him. Just my opinion, but if Usyk comes in at 240 he has no chance at all. Every advantage that he has from footwork, defense, etc. will be marginalized. He is only 6‘3“ tall. I think he’s too smart to come in bogged down. We’ll see though…
@@Seeker_Media I agree that 240 would be very detrimental to Usyk’s style of fighting. I think he has been fighting around 220 at heavyweight. 20 pounds on top of that would be a mistake for sure. I think/ heard that he’s looking bulkier. However let’s see at the weigh in. I’m changing my mind from min to min regarding the winner of this one. I just hope it’s fairly judged and we have no controversy. I’m predicting an Usyk masterclass…. For now 🤷🏼♂️
@@chrisk7082 Good take! These are my two favorite fighters. I love watching both of them. I have Fury by decision. I think he’s just too big. I don’t really know how Usyk gets inside of that 85” reach. I don’t expect Tyson to try and maul him as he has others. I expect a ton of one-twos and then grabbing him in an effort to marginalize that bouncing in and out that Usyk does so well. Again, I think this is going to be a chess match of the highest order.
Usyk will never come in that heavy Same weight as last fight 100 kg 220 pounds +÷ Just look at him, he looks lighter then aj fight Coming on lighter I think- look at him he looks like a cruiser 🎉
@@HB-gj7gd I’ve seen him a couple times. He didn’t look like he had gained any weight to me. I just heard that he was considering coming in around 240. That would be a catastrophic mistake. Every natural advantage he has would be neutralized.
Fury is coming to fight. Win, lose or draw, he’s coming to fight. His pride was wounded in the last fight. He looks as though he has trimmed down. This is gonna be fun to watch.
@@Seeker_Media yes. Am looking forward to it. Obviously not me in the ring haha. Btw. I meant not disappointed in that sense. That he will probably win.
@@HB-gj7gd I posted on here somewhere about 10 times concerning that fight. That fight was much easier to view ahead of time than Tyson/Usyk. I’m not coming to the party late. I posted these exact words, “Ryan has all the natural advantages. He has faster hands, more power and more accurate. The outcome of the fight will be dictated by Haney. If he taps, taps and moves away, he should be fine. However, if he stands in front of Ryan mono-e-mono, he’s going to be in trouble.” He did that very thing. As a matter of fact, by the third round, he was stalking Ryan. Ryan has extremely fast hands. It was just a matter of time before he got one of those punches off. People can say whatever they want but Once he hit Devin and dropped him in the seventh round, Devin never recovered.
@@peterbalac1915 Low blows will fold any fighter up like a deckchair. It may have been a debatable subject if the fight had gone to a decision. But, Usyk cleaned Dubois clock and left no doubts.
@@FlaThunderstorm He sure did! He beat Dubois down until he quit. I mean really, a straight jab sent him to the floor for the count. He had had enough. With that said, I am a huge fan of both. I’m taking Tyson in this fight. Let’s get back together after the fight and see how it turns out.
@@Seeker_Media I actually think that Usyk will defeat Fury easier than he did AJ in their rematch. I just feel that Fury is so overrated. I also believe he's an addicted drug user. Once on hard drugs always on hard drugs. Just watch the way the guy acts. All hyped up most of the time. That's just not normal behavior IMO.
@@FlaThunderstorm don’t you think they would have traced some of that drug use if he was still using? I attribute his erratic behavior to the same things that led to Floyd Mayweather’s erratic behavior… a dire need for the spotlight. He’s been acting that way since early in his career. Simply go back and look at his eighth career fight against John McDermott. Or, Fury’s 21st bout when he fought Steve Cunningham. This craziness is nothing new. Either he’s been on drugs his entire career or this is just who he is. I’ve already stated this, I like Tyson in this fight. If I am wrong, I will apologize. Everyone is quick to point out Tyson has never fought anyone like Usyk. Well, that can be said in reverse. You don’t generally get a man that big that can move as Tyson does. You watch! This will be a chess match of the highest order. Both men will constantly feint. There will be no knockdowns, no stoppages. I just don’t know how Usyk gets past the jab from a top fighter with an 85 inch reach. Tyson has 4-6 inches in height and 7 inches in reach. This is not going to be a walk in the park.
You’ve got to spin all this if your getting paid interestingly he says Usyk is gonna knock him out 😂😂 Also we all know AJ has a lot more power than Fury re Ngannou and he couldn’t get rid of Usyk in 2 fights. Can’t see Fury doing it either and remember we heard all this oh he is so much bigger when Usyk fought AJ and look what happened.
Tyson Fury will be his 100% ready against Usyk next month. To be perfectly honest, if Fury's 100% is not good enough to beat Usyk on May 18th, there will not be a rematch. Fury knows he was not prepared against Ngannou but he also knows he will be against Usyk. If his best is not good enough to beat the smaller Ukrainian the first time, I highly doubt that Fury will think he can improve on that to win the rematch. Fury has claimed to be a boxing encyclopedia. Frankly no one disputes that. Therefore If he somehow unexpectedly loses, he will realize he is not capable of rendering a better performance. Only an incompetent can improve. Someone as well-versed as Fury will never be able to basically improve. As a result, a Fury loss will not have fans see Fury-Usyk II.
Pikey. Yak! Yak! Yak! Gonna punch Usynk low, he wont beat Usyk. Fury has arms like pipecleaners. Waitbtill you hurt Usyk, he hasbitbin him. Fury without drugs is nothing. TEST! TEST! TEST!.
Talking rubbish fury going to ruin your boy and less with the racism you wouldn’t say nothing to a traveller man you would be knocked out fast even by a young chavy
Did he just say once tyson fury finds his timing usyks gonna knock him out lol . question ❓ who as a good boxer as tyson fault... Wilder cant box only a big punch .that equals tyson has never fault a boxer now to fight usyk with no real boxer practice. That means one thing tyson wont win no.
Who has Usyk fought like Tyson? Usyk won a majority decision against Briedis and split against AJ. Don’t write this fight off as a walk in the park. This is going to be a fun, fun fight to watch. A chess match of the highest order.
@@MichaelLaw-pe7cq Let me be honest here. I have no clue about the undercard. I don’t even know who’s fighting. If I know anything about Tyson though, you can bet he’s not going to want anyone to get any attention away from him. Usyk is more of a humble figure. Tyson, not so much. With that said, I have Tyson by decision. I might be back here in a month eating crow. We will see…
This crap is so dumb!! You are basing this off of a low blow ? I swear Brits are becoming the new America!! Sad and very disappointing!! Be real instead of going down this dark disingenuous path! This is why I love fighters like Usyk! No bullshit and real as it gets!!
less sparring, Tyson was doing 4 sparring sessions a week! 2 more then Usyk! his a machine them faints will really trouble usyk and will upset his rhythm altogether. ALEXIS BARRIERE is so fast its not even funny future champion... and no one punches harder then Canelo thats just fact we no that, and the power will not help Beterbiev, at all especially when theirs 40 to 50 jabs per round coming in the face from Bivol for me there is no one in the world that beats Bivol best pound for pound on the planet
Well, Nigel, I don't know if that was supposed to be a joke, but Tyson Fury and Alexis Barriere have been in an openly gay relationship for the past 8 months, which has been confirmed by various media outlets, including the Daily Mail.
People tend to overlook Tyson’s power because it is not a one punch sort of thing. It is a little known fact, but he has nearly as high of a knockout ratio as Lennox Lewis.

I didn’t know that to be honest. Thankyou for that mate👍
@@dazg7405Let me add that these are my too favorite fighters. Usyk is a serial k*ller! I am convinced he has a couple dozen bodies somewhere(JK). Tyson is a blow-hard that tries to talk everyone into some sort of trap. I hate that one of them is going to get an L. I simply go back to Evander Holyfield when he fought Lennox Lewis. He said, “I was not expecting him to be as skilled as I was. He was just as good and alot bigger.“ Whether you like Tyson or not, he is a very good fighter. I am of the opinion that a good big man will beat a good little man everytime. We will find out in a month. You come back and comment after the fight. If I am wrong, I will humbly apologize.
Neither of these guys possess the power to knock out another opponent with a single blow. That’s pretty much what you have to have against either of these fighters. You’re not going to get three or four shots in a row without them moving out of the way. This is a decision without a doubt.
Yea right HA HA HA HA HA what ever you guys say or think or think you think is a BIG BIG JOKE GUYS. FURY WILL GAS OUT EARLY AND FIGHT OVER ------ COME ON LETS GET REAL ABOUT THINGS. ITS A BIG BIG JOKE FOR fury guys come on.
@@baldersn4474haha yeah. I'm leaning more for the usyk win. But fury is not likely to gas as much as the other heavyweights usyk has faced. But at the same time. We have seen fury fight anyone as busy as usyk is. Will be a very good fight I think. Can't see either losing if honest. Anyone's fight . Both very good
@@rupert-dt6ny lol, he became mate after fury dominated him, wilder was in his prime when he fought fury and Klitchko was relatively young and confident.. old vlad almost knnocked out fresh AJ lol
