For a free game I don't see why it won't push ea to do better. Because people will likely try it and of course if it's actually the next best thing and ea fc/fifa ends up declining (which is possible) ea will have no choice to end up changing things up@@marvinfgm

For me it's like that: If it has no career mode it can not be better then EAFC.. In EAFC if you tweak some sliders and set the game speed on slow you actually got a pretty nice experience in terms of gameplay and career mode. 👍🏻🤝🏻 It's true I don't play online because for me it's unrealistic.

Online is more challenging than career mode for me. I agree with you, UT team is not realistic but I like to play pro clubs and season. It's more fun than career mode for me. But playing career mode is also exciting too.

I think what's important is to reward open chances much more than scoring long shots. After all it's a fair game. Not saying you can't score any bangers, but I hope you understand what I mean. Even in real life it's very rare to score long shots, they got to be precise and full of power to challenge the keeper.

Yep… all I saw really was goals flying in from 30 yards which is rlly annoying cuz it’s too easy to just press one button from a million miles away compared to actually creating a good chance and building up properly… it’s what I hate most about fifa… ur players could miss every chance from inside of the box but the opposing player can score a finesse shot from fuckin narnia

The downfall of EA is when they went to next gen and tried making the game more and realistic look back at the fifas you had the most fun on and I’ll tell you the gameplay was not realistic in the slightest. FC24 is the most realistic football game ea have released and it’s considered the worst/most boring by many.

I’m all for any new football game. The more the merrier as far as I’m concerned. But we have to start asking ourselves. How long will this game be in development? What’s it been now, two years? What I’m seeing here is a game that looks and plays a lot like EFC minus any real faces, real kits, boots, or licenses or stadiums. What is it that will make someone want to play this versus AFC? The fact that it’s free? Didn’t someone already try that and fail? I wish them well, and if they produce a better product, I’ll try. But I’m not really impressed.

What you said is all true, however, I’d rather receive a polished and well-made product every 2-3 years, than a mediocre product yearly. And realistically, All EA do yearly with EAFC is update kits every year, with gameplay and menu changes that could probably be described as a relatively sizable patch update

The graphics are nice, it looks a lot like ea fc, but the player animations, ball and net physics need some more polishing, gameplay wise looks like a fifa 09

It's hard and I respect their attempt to come and face a dying PES and a reigning very well seasoned EA FC (previously Fifa). This is a choice between experience and a newcomer I think this game will be more arcadey like Efootball than competitive like EA FC, though I really hope I'm wrong because that'll definitely light up the compeition

We could go on and on about graphics but what’s the game play going to be like..If your going to compete with EAFC (old Fifa) forget they know what’s it takes to make a footy game and they’ve had years to experiment. At present we have efootball, will 2K bring out a football game who knows, your going to have to release this game soon

Best reply. Gameplay same as PES 2009-11, the passes are the exact same as PES 2010, the pitch and visuals look exactly like 2009. Also every shot going in from far and not favorable positions give me FIFA 18 flashbacks

That's actually a good thing I recently played pes 11 slowed down and it looks absolutely gorgeous. I even had to upload it. Konami have to communicate with their fans because I remember hating pes 11 now all of a sudden this new gamespeed has made it top 3 in the series.

I'm fine with the interception where the guy doesn't look at the ball. It should get intercepted regardless. Make the gameplay good first, then worry about minor things like this.

This game is like early version of FIFA 12. The current EAFC 24 is miles ahead in terms of a lot of things. These things are not really observable to the average person playing the game. Now EA is going nuts with animations with all the camera tracking stuff they fit on REAL stadiums to track REAL player moments. TBH, most of the development of UFL may progress and really get to the finishing point, BUT... competing EA, even freaking Konami is a completely different ball game for small group of developers. The only way they are going to have any grow-able market-share here is by making the game tactically, or I should say, "realistically" superior. Like improving the AI model of the computer controlled players. The actual realism is in how on-field players work, how do they do decision making and stuff like that. Physics is also important, but often overlooked and not many people are interested in at this point in "graphical realism" superiority. Good the Football Manger devs know what they are doing and who are they trying to appeal.

3 things i dont like Passes looking a little bit wierd to me somthing like the ball is on ice. Driblling animation looks also a little bit strabge to me. Running Animation looks a little bit stiff.

Despite the unreal shots, game it's looks promising, and if there is an offline mode it could be an alternative to what we have. Looking at this video you can see some things that need to be improved to bring more realism and beauty to the gameplay, for example the players' positioning lines are very statistical, they are easily broken, with practically any pass the opposing player is left alone. the hand-to-hand combats seem to be unfinished, the few that do exist, seems lack flexibility or something like that. even if most of the content is generic, this will be easily resolved if the devs open it up to using mods, this is how pes was survived to this days, without the mods from the fan base, pes would be even more dead, completely dead and buried i would say.

the only positive about this game is that ea will see a future rival and will try to levelup their game which has many flaws...seing this gameplay video i can say this is not near FC 24 level for sure

I got EA FC and sold it a week and a half later.... it has become a game that is so gimmicky with setting tactics and abusing overpowered moves (Shot fakes, dribble sticking back and forth, broken finesse shots from way outside the box, ect...). Also, maybe this is just me but nothing aggravates me more than when your opponent gambles on defense (pulling players out of position, missing step tackles, getting outclassed with a dribble move) and somehow recovers without even having to sweat because their players are so good. Im really hoping this game maintains a balance of making it so you have to be equally good on offense as being in defense. If thats the case i will play this so much even if the animations need some work.

Gameplay seems as floaty and very light weight, maybe less speedy, as FIFA and that's not good at all. It better have some weight and you can actually feel that you're controlling the players.

IMO - The art style looks like EA FC or FiFA, I dont thing its good thing, dont grt me wrong EA FC loosk very good but I think if UFL would have created their own art style, for example the distictive difference between PES and FIFAs art style is what made me enjoy both games, so If UFL can create something visualy different I would really enjoy that
