I would like to ask if it is possible to plug and play an ATSC TV Tuner into the Ugoos AM8 Pro ? Because, I can imagine the Play Store would support the Tuner software required. But I don't know if the hardware or anyone else has combined features together like this? Thoughts? Thanks for your experiences and reviews.

Not sure if it will work. I checked with the Ugoos team as well and they are also not sure if this will work, they never tested it with a TV Tuner

Just trying to put this together because, the at GTMEDIA TV Tuner USB stick readily connects to Android phones. I really don't see any reason a Ugoos could not load the software from the Play Store. Even without changing any Developer Options. Please press Ugoos to take a 2nd look.

Great tv box i have the UT8 pro. Best thing about these are it's a full phone android 11 experience for us that dont want the tv experience. Status bar and pull down notifications bar are very important to me.

As far as android tv boxes that support 8k is this currently the most powerful tv box available? Or is there a point in waiting on a machine that uses upcoming "desktop class" Qualcomm chips?

@@MinistryReviewsSchaz looks like it, except I did a bit of digging and the Beelink IPC-R seems to have a GPU that's more than 2x as powerful. Can't find a review of it though, maybe too niche or not on the market yet.

Is this a fully loaded tv box and how is it compared to a the new super box s5 , haven't found any you tube content creator that does vs's videos, like a side by comparison of the super box s5 vs the UGOOS Am8.

The biggest difference is on the RAM, S5 Max has 4GB and AM8 Pro has 8GB. The other big difference is that the S5 comes with free channels whle this one doesnt

That ethernet throughput is horrible. Even with overhead it should be well over 500Mbps, close to 800Mpbs.

I have read that older versions of Netflix can get around it. But I assume most people using this will rely on kodi for most streaming needs.

All you Joker's complain about it can't play Netflix in 4k, The Netflix app is on your smart TV so what's the problem. I've got the UT Pro and playing live streaming using Tivimate pro is true 4k. Also when purchasing an android box ask your self what are you using it for.

I wish instant of all these useless future for simple user like me , they go for Netflix certifiey , just think for sc you spend more than $200 but your streaming services is SD , so you tell me , is this important or having 3 usb 3 back to back???
