Dear Africans, let us stop gloating over positive immigration laws or crying over unfavorable ones. This is the time to turn back to our continent and help develop it. If we don't do that and we keep chasing citizenship and passports in these countries, we'll forever be disadvantaged and looked down upon as a people. I salute the Kenyan youth fighting to build the only country they have.
Not all Governments are like Kenya. Since Nov 2016 to date 🇨🇲 has not been the same again because uncountable lives have been claimed in the name of fighting for positive changes.
You can't blame people for wanting a better life for themselves, when most African countries are currently being run by greedy government and politicians who would rather keep all the wealth to themselves rather than use it to improve the state of African countries. I'm originally from Uganda and trust me when I say that those Kenyan youth wouldn't dare to protest in Uganda the same way they did in Kenya. We've had the same dictator since 1984, every election is rigged and whenever people go on the street to carry out peaceful protest he sends the police to shoot LIVE rounds at protesters, during the last elections dozens of people were shot dead by the police for demonstrating against rigged elections, the internet was shut down to prevent people from organising protests, and during campaigns our "president" sent police and secret services to assault and kidnap opposition members. I think it is very unfair to say African youths arent doing enough when most of them are living under conditions that are very different than those faced by the Kenyan youth.
