The fact that it's the same game with small changes and rollback annoyed me at first, but now I'd rather they do that than change the overall gameplay so much it wouldn't feel like Under Night. Two things that really disappoint me though are the new artworks and the new UI, it feels flat and too minimalist.
@@Azure_Underhow does it not? There's a new menu, some new sprites, a new mechanic, and a few new characters. GBFVSR is doing the same thing, however GBFVSR is considered an update
@@stinkranger it's not an update if you're buying a whole new game. Frame data, new moves, mechanic system adjustment can be in an update but to drastically change a game's mechanic system from the old one is a new game. Hence why there isn't an update coming for GBFVS
@@stinkranger GBFVSR isn't an update, it's a full game. If it was an update, i wouldn't have to buy it since i have the original GBFVS. Uni 2 is a new game, with new mechanics, new overall "feel", and to be honest we don't know much about the game other than this really brief trailer. We have still a lot of months left before the release. We don't even know what the new mechanics that were shown do or if there's more of them
This legit feels like a BlazBlue Calamity Trigger-to-Continuum Shift situation ngl. Edit: With a dash of Chronophantasma paint only in regards to the new OST.
@@wew123tttt i respectfully disagree! I think that being able to reuse assets is what makes these games able to release at a reasonable time. BlazBlue Centralfiction is still using sprites from Calamity Trigger and the game still looks great. Allowing the devs to reuse assets basically ensures more frequent content updates from this franchise which is always cool. I think people are looking at this like a Xrd > Strive situation when it's more akin to a Calamity Trigger > Continuum Shift situation which is clouding their judgment a bit.
@@toyota6985 i know that... Re disigning there outfit wouldn't hurt a bit... This game look like the same game.... Only new to this is the hud , special effects and the character banter thats it.... And let me guess... Same super moves?.. Yup kinda look like the same game previous one...
@@wew123tttt exactly, 6 years would've been enough time for them to actually make it look like a proper sequel (6 years without counting the release of clr since it's basically an upgrade pack)
@@toyota6985it would have been enough time if they weren't also working on melty blood type lumina 2d sprite animation is really time consuming, doubt they would have really had the resources to complete both in 6 years
UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH 2.....more like UNDER NIGHT IN BIRTH REVAMP... is the same game... At least redesign there outfits... Is blazblue all over again........ Even had the same super.....
