We just happened to have a flight out of Chicago during the opening weekend of the new United Club in Chicago's C terminal. See a walk around of the new club, how to get in, and the food and bar.
Glad you showed it full. That seems to be the norm these days. I would not be surprised if a rate hike is coming, like we saw with AA's Admiral's Club.
Very cheap nowadays, not as good as before, too crowded. Those old time is so quiet and not so many peoples, may be too many complimentary pass, use to be frequent premier travelers there, however, there are so many one time pass admission
This was my very first United Club experience when I went last year. Made me not want to pursue Star Gold status anymore (via another Star Alliance airline), but rather "a la carte" my United tickets to either include a (somewhat inexpensive) lounge pass or not, which eventually costs less than booking expensive flights just to reach status. I mean, it's not like American Airlines lounges where Sapphire status (via another oneworld airline) gets you access to their Flagship Lounge.
Nice! we have a 4 hr layover stopping in ORD coming from Honolulu. I get two free passes a year from being a United mileage plus CC member. Even though we are flying in business class, I heard since Honolulu isn’t international we won’t be allowed into the Polaris lounge. This lounge looks nice can’t wait to visit. Thanks for the vid 😊
It really depends on the day. I have been there around 7 and it has been packed. I have had other days that there were only like 30 people in the entire place.
