This ride is actually pretty cool, I got to ride it a week or two ago when I was staying at Universal. The best part is when you launch up the space train, you actually feel the g-force/acceleration on the ride.
Stephen Reed I disagree with the people who have had their doubts on this ride. Twister may have been great but I know that this will be amazing as twister was.
it just that those people myself included dont find the humor that good and the fun of this ride is done better in other areas of the park rember universal is considered the "screen park"
mystery brick it is true that there are a few simulators in universal but what I like about these things is that they're amazing and interactive as well. It feels like you're actually a part of the action. Sorry if I offended you.
Smash Shane oh no I love the other Sims it's just that this one lacks the fun and dare I say detail of the others in the park everything done here is done better elsewhere in the park
man if this was 1992 this would have been a real ride where you actually would go through a replica of the streets of new york on a rollercoaster track or a car track on a dark ride...while 3d sim rides are cool...There are far too many of them at universal.
DR Vizierial Kavokinstine depends on which rides you get on. The Spider-Man, Transformers and Harry Potter rides at Universal are a perfect mix of practical effects and cgi and they blend perfectly.
I can agree with that the transformers ride do's baffle me there is a part in witch you enter a full city and it feels like its almost real! The harry potter ride witch i rode recently was amazing it had that cool 360 axis. What i do feel about this ride though is its a bit rushed and lacks story telling.
Pearljam313 this one looks so boring, and only a test to see how accurate can CGI recreate a famous face. Like, with the Spider-Man, Transformers and Harry Potter, there's not just good tech; there's at least an actual story. This feels like half a tech test and half an ad for Jimmy Fallon. It'll be gone in a few years as people realize it's an ad and really can't do much, as the ride is a giant theater, limiting its mobility and basic effects, such as wind, water and other stuff like that. They work when covering small car sized areas, as EVERYONE can feel them; a theater style seating like this works only for certain people. You'll have to be in a certain row to fully get the immersion, and that sucks imo
“Disney’s Hollywood Studios” should have something like “Race Through Hollywood: Starring The Muppets!”. Through Hollywood, you can race Kermit and his veichle, “The Muppet Rider”.
this ride is Amazing..about the only ride at Universal I could go on ( I have mobility issues) and the staff was very nice and helped me...maybe the people that don't like this ride simply don't like Jimmy Fallon...thank you for this video!!
It does actually. The video doesn't do it justice, but they do have 4d stuff. Just think more along the lines of Soarin' with smells and water splashes, that sort of thing.
Universal is famous for creating some of the greatest pieces of Cimena in known history and has access to some of the greatest franchises out there... And they made a fucking Jimmy Fallon Ride.
Y’all are talking shit about this ride but it is pretty cool, reminds me of the old jimmy neutron ride they replaced w minions. Twister was bad and old anyways it was time for a change, simulation rides have always been a thing at universal remember back to the future lmao like it’s nothing new
Let me go right ahead and explain why these simulators are boring as hell. Nearly all the rides at the park are screen rides. What do you pay for? To watch a movie with you sitting down and a motion vehicle? Or to experiance a life like ride with no 3D glasses. The 2nd option of course. You are here to ride, rides and have a realistic experience, 3D simulators do that but of course you know darn well you are just staring at a screen. The reason why back to the future didn't get beef is because that technology was fairly new for the park and the ride would still be enjoyed to this day because it's based off a classic movie. You probably never heard of this motto of the park but the motto was to "Ride the movies" like twister ride it out, yet that is not a ride but a show, in my opinion it's my favorite i agree that it turned into crap because the lazy engineer's didn't even bother to even fix the attractions with more modern technology. Et. Jaws. Disasters. Back draft. And what happened to these? Got removed and replaced with simulators. Except for jaurrasic park the one in Hollywood is getting the Jurassicworld over work but not sure what is gonna happen to the one in Florida. Islands of adventure has some simulators but eh Knowing these attractions were out dated they could have been fixed, better than ever. But universal ain't disney of course. Yes disney has simulators but only 1 star tours. We can maybe say the same to the new Guardians of the Galaxy that replaced the tower of terror but that ride I greatly enjoy. But the classic Disney rides are still alive but some are bad like in Disney world. But not gonna get into that. Universal needs to step up their tech with no darn screens and more physical prop set rides Such as Harry potter. Now that ride I love. But this ride...Jimmy fallon replaced twister......not even gonna rant about why this ride is boring... it shows every piece of evidence on why. I would prefer the classics to come back to replace these so called "rides" but dated with more advanced tech.
Don't need to explain anything. It's a personal experience after all. I used to like rollercoasters, not anymore. That's why I like Universal. There are a ton of theme parks close to where I live with rollercoasters, not so much simulators which I much prefer
We loved this ride. I personally love the simulators because I'm not into rollercoasters so Universal is perfect for me. Even my husband who does like rollercoasters both universal parks preferred to any other, though he did enjoy Busch gardens too
If you watch close when you arrive at checkpoint one, and Jimmy is having the conversation with Sara and Gary, there's a lady to the left carrying a baby. I think that's her...?
yes infact twister sucked but this ride failed to be any better but hey at least the queuing system is innovative but even with that there are far better simulators at universal

Ok but most people don't even know jimmy Fallon and won't understand any of it. Why not put something else there. The Simpsons ride was horrible but come on no one would understand this a my little pony ride would of been better than this
universal has a problem with not putting effort into there rides in particular the ones that could be shown in much better ways. this ride has the potental to be much more than just a screen. it could be a roller coaster through a city or a show like twister, but universal doesnt like making those kind of rides. i used to go to universal constantly with my family but now we dont go as much because its not exiting enough to travel that far. we usually go to there competitors which are way better at making me feel like im in the story. disney is in compitition with universal and if this continues universal is going to lose there guests just like me and there all going to go straight out the back door to the happiest place on earth.
Why would they have the ride based off of Jimmy Fallon, I mean come on on. It's frankly just a bad move by universal because jimmy fallon will lose all relevance in about 3-4 years and then they have to replace it
that's the reason the ride is just a big screen they're cheap and easy to make and they can cash in on what ever's relevant than when it stops being popular they can just use it to play a different film based on a new relevant thing it's really sad have stopped caring about making good rides
Stopped the video I got go on this ride part experience time something happened when we get on the Ride there seats all work together my dad unlock my seat belt and my mom sit then I kinda sick not bad the tummy next we just want to go see the show if it was to much we got to they let us there not Post now don't watch him
This ride is terrible! i mean come on universal! another bullshit simulator ride? smh. i'm pretty sure similator rides will take over the whole resort, and that's sad. if you're a theme park goer (like myself) and are sick of these simulator rides, this will dissapoint. 1/10
brandon ortiz you know what would be a cool park? Universal classic it brings back all the original non simulated rides back to life Even the extraTERRORetrial alien encounter
brandon ortiz you may be a casual theme park goer, as myself; however, I feel it's important to acknowledge the innovative ride technology Universal Studios implements. It may not be a park full of rollercoasters around every corner; yet, the originality of the rides are important to immerse ourselves in. Hence a theme park focusing on major movie backgrounds.
