Have you compared the Arrow and Criterion UHDs of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas? Some people say the Criterion has more accurate color grading but I’m not sure.

it sad, that you getting a-holes causing you and your family trouble. unfortunately. this kind of BS is major problem with youtubers. so, you're not alone. over the past few years. Anchorman I can tell on my tv the color of their jackets and clothes. You can’t really tell the true color they attended for the movie in the Blu-ray. I love how it is just not about the colors but how they fix the issues you get in the Blu-ray

James I need some advice: some new 4K films I’ve bought will get stuck and have digital scramble for a few seconds, usually in the middle of the film, and eventually recovers. It happens on a lot of 100gb discs, and recently it happened on Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and Star Wars (Skywalker box set). I have a Panasonic UB820. Is it doing this because my player needs to be cleaned or is it something with the discs?

I was super excited when Purple Rain was announced for 4K. I had not seen it in over 25yrs, so I decided to rewatch it before ordering. Unlike Flashdance, this one didn’t hold up that well for me. The soundtrack is the main attraction here I think. But, glad it’s coming for those that still enjoy/love it. 🙂

Good review as always but I have to make a correction. The previous 2016 remastered (4k scan) Blu-ray of Purple Rain was indeed released in the 1:85:1 Aspect Ratio. It also includes all of the video extras on the new 4K. My opinion is that the skin tones are somewhat dull but detail clarity was very good.

🤔Sorry, but I am always very careful to share in these videos exactly what the studio (Warner Bros.) directly shares with me about the 4K retoration & here is the exact quote WB directly sent about the the new home video aspect ratio of the Purple Rain 4K UltraHD💿:⤵️ ✳️“The picture was also conformed to the original theatrical release aspect ratio of 1.85:1 to provide the most authentic theatrical presentation framing ever to be released to the home” 👍Hopefully this helps you understand all the differences I was explaining that WB did with the new aspect ratio!! 😘Thanks for your support!!🤟
