Hello everyone! Let's dive into the exciting new details about Genshin Impact's upcoming version 4.8, set to release on July 17th.
In version 4.8, we'll get a limited-time map called Simulanka. This map is larger than previous temporary maps but offers fewer primogems from exploration compared to earlier limited-time areas.
4.8 Banners and Reruns: Emilie, a 5-star Dendro polearm user, and on-field sub-DPS unit, will debut in this patch. If you're saving primogems, consider the rerun banners.
In Phase One. Navia and Nilou will get their rerun. In Phase Two. Emilie's first banner and Yelan's fourth rerun.
Chronicled Wish Banner. There's no confirmed information about a chronicled wish banner for 4.8 yet. Given that Yelan is getting a rerun, a chronicled wish banner seems unlikely.
In version 4.8, Two new skins are coming: Nilou's Outfit is called Breeze of Sabaa which you have to purchase with Genesis Crystals. And Kirara's Outfit is called Phantom in Boots, all players will receive this outfit free after completing the flagship event.
4.8 Flagship event. The main event is called Summertide Scales and Tides which will feature a free copy of Kirara, her outfit, 1,000 primogems, and other materials. Additionally, three past events will return. Bing-Bang Finchball, Light Novel Photography, and Energy Amplifier.
New Endgame in 4.8. A new permanent event, Painted Voyage, will be introduced. This event involves earning keys through the Imaginarium Theater and completing challenges to unlock unique visual effects for characters like Diluc, Jean, Qiqi, Kirara, and Ningguang. More details will be revealed during the 4.8 special program.
Version 4.8 Primogems Count. According to beta testers, version 4.8 will provide around 11,065 primogems or 69 wishes. Despite not being a filler patch, this number is relatively low.
