I don't even bother with blood build anymore the amount of times I getting blood buckets and there's already victims escaping if you're playing slow to were ppl are getting gramps to lvl 3 that quick change your play style if they nerf grandpa he will become irrelevant against good players
People forget that the family should be better than the victim side. It's suppose to feel hard to escape to give the sense of accomplishment when you do. Not rush and escape in 2 minutes
Yeah, thats the whole point. One or two victims escaping is already a win. Of course they can (and should) escape, even all of them at times, but not in the way it was happening before the patch (fighting like maniacs and purely rushing). We have characters with agressive habilities, like Lelland and Ana, so there is no sense in having Connie grabbing bone knifes and winning duels against Johnny. I play this game for a month or two now and honeslty feel that it is in his better place since I started. It gives almost the same vibe as when I first played - like if I find someone of the family I will be in a hard and scary situation, as it is supposed to be.
They shouldn’t have patch empowered or they should’ve made it where we get our health back instead of stamina because after I win the grapple I instantly gain enough stamina back after the animation without the perk🤦🏽♂️

There really was no reason to buff scout, pretty much every loadout uses it just because that extra speed is really important for chase and map control. right now the meta is worse than when the game launched
The only reason people run Scout is because there's like less than 10 perks on the Family side that are useful and aren't extremely situational and/or trash. They should buff the garbage perks instead of nerfing the good ones and that goes for both Family and Victims.

“Accidentally?” Please don’t make excuses for these devs. They didn’t “accidentally” do anything. They knew exactly what they were doing when victims called for scout nerf and they respond by buffing it.
Leatherface was already Strong but with every update he gets even Stronger. He is already OP in the right Hands but LEatherface should as the Face of the Franchise. But Srsly im glad what theyre onto with this game
I think this change is honestly fair as it changes how victims play, in my opinion, think if you were in real life, in this scenario, as the victim, would the family really even leave unlock tools and fuses and valves lying around their properties to escape, no. Therefore the victims are already lucky that the family is stupid enough to do this, but in the games core, you are supposed to be afraid of the family, not go, oh there’s a 6’7 man with a chainsaw, let’s go stab him and then rush and escape in 3 minutes, the game is supposed to be intense, and this scout change definitely helps. The family is supposed to be the power role, the victims are supposed to be weak and tortured, not a bully to the family, like this comment if you agree with me, or comment why you think I’m wrong. All I’m saying is victim aren’t supposed to have easy escapes. I also hardly notice a difference on leatherface, it still takes 3 hits for the first kill as long as you have 40 toughness, and after violent’s activated it was highly unlikely you’d live after the overhead even before the patch, unless you were virgina and you use that stupid tech of skipping the animation, so what’s the harm in just making it one less hit?
I think the developers made this change to make Leatherface more powerful, so that everybody would be scared of him, he is the main family member and this is supposed to be an horror story, I agree that victims aren't supposed to be almighty, I personally play both family and victims, I think they want victims to play as stealthy as possible, I also believe that victims can be dangerous if they have strategy like stabbing grandpa and make distractions to allow teammates to open the doors and the exits, besides Danny is like the Leatherface of the victims
Nobody said easy but how is it a stealth game when killers already know all the hiding spots and if you play stealth and not found they level grandpa up super fast. And don't even mention agitator perk when Sissy can spray her shit on grandpa and hitch can put a trap down and they can camp grandpa. Not to mention when you go to stab grandpa it takes forever to position yourself to stab him sometimes. GTFOH with all that bull. Funny that i was getting kills before they nerfed choose flight. Is it nerfed well enough for you now or should victims just spawn dead?
@@DrunkSince1973 I understand what you mean dude but the thing is that I've seen a lot of victims playing without strategies, they don't even use mic and they love going solo, of course family is gonna kill them if they play that way, family players love planning things out to kill victims, they like teamworkig so the key to win this game is the teamwork, I've seen victims win when they team, like one of them open the doors while other 2 distract or fight the family members by stabbing them in the back or doing close encounters until the exit is open and they all can escape
@@xMsDisaster- Yeah i came back after a long break from the game cause i played it and nothing else from the time it came out. I didn't come back until the Mill map was out for awhile. I'm getting use to the stamina management now and its not easy. I am either gonna try and have fun with it the way it is or quit because its not worth arguing about or getting mad over.
Victims will literally cry their eyes out over any family buff because they want to be able to stun you and teabag you in your face. 🤣 I think they forgot how strong Danny, Connie, and Ana really are especially when they work together as a team and yet they want to throw a tantrum over 10% damage. I'll be honest, I'm not sure how to feel about this update. On one hand, I'm glad the game is making the family more threatening to encourage a stealthy playstyle, what was intended for the game in the first place. Bone Scraps I think were meant to be use in a defensive way, and this allows it to thrive more often than simple bullying Ana or Leland mains do. On the other hand, I still hate how Johnny can still be the same speed as a sprinting victim with the perk (obligated victim main). Maybe with the stamina nerf I could find ways to counter this, but I think I would take damage reduction in his case any day of the week. Other families are good, don't get me wrong, and I use scout on them as well when I feel like being them, but Johnny is just insta win imo (which is why I don't play as him, I might be missing other facts) if you are caught in a really open spot, which is where he is a lot of the times.
For most of the family, it's less than 3 hit points extra if they're at max savagery. For Bubba it adds an extra 8 hit points to his overhead, so in that overhead/two follow up swings combo he's gone from hitting at 126 points to 140 points. So before if a victim had over 40 Toughness they could survive that combo, but now, they'd need No Sell or a miracle.
U ain’t lying family did get a buff cause I played 14 games today an won 3 usually I win way more but no not since update an it gets agg at times but it’s really good like that plus really ain’t been having problems getting in a match since update
That sounds about right. No one should be escaping so much. It should feel like an accomplishment when you escape. Not victims rushing getting out in 3 minutes or bullying the family.

Listen to me this game play just goes to show how top tier and one sided the games becoming for family mains. He's not even on coms and he's killing it about 3 kills a game minimum. Thats one skilled player alone Imagine playing against 3 family members on coms lol the thought of it is just crazy. This was by far the most lopsided update. How can you weaken everything on the victims empowered, choose flight, choose fight, extra drip and expect persons to still escape. Judge new comers now you can see why the games dying a bit. dude i’m a victim main I played killer like 4 times and I had 3 kills without coms too in some games. Even though I was a big noob as killer. And that’s the point. This game is an asymetrical game, the whole point of it is to not be balanced dude. It is suppose to be in favor of family, they are KILLERS. Escaping as victim is not impossible, it’s just harder and that’s why I like this game dont go against the whole design of this game : family is supposed to be better
You can’t tell me that the whole close encounter meta was healthy for the game? The mechanic was intentionally used as a last niche resort option, not to be overly abused by every character from the roster. It was so bad that victims would just run at family members blindly without any fear on who ever was around them, to just stun them for 14 seconds (which is longer than the stun immunity). At the same time they would get a gate unlocked infront of the idled family member. You can watch several content creators of TCM who all stated how busted this meta was. Even Middi one of the most popular TCM creators stated, “I shouldn’t be running away from an Ana.” After seeing an Ana run at him blindly to engage into a close encounter….
What i hate in TCM is when i play as a family, bubba. i try trust my other members do they jobs, but usually the survivers escapes easy game doesn't need buff or nerf but some players must learn how to patrol areas

Leatherface it’s meant to be Dangerous, but they should remove his aim assist and make it harder for players to use him if they are going to make him really overpowered.
The devs clearly only play family, they've only buffed family since the game came out and they've turned the game into a victim simulator where you either die instantly or you rush straight out and don't even see anyone, I play both sides and family is so ridiculously easy to play it feels like bullying and victim just isn't fun anymore
A friend of mine said that Scout doesn't apply the same boost (from Scout) like it does to the other killers. I can't tell if he's right or wrong, because bubba looks kinda the same speed as usual in this video

Leland and Ana are supposed to be able to defend themselves but they shouldn’t be confident to the point they will attack family every chance they get. Have you ever seen survivors bully the family in the movie lol ? Victims should try to go for stealth attacks anyway, not go for close encounter all the time. And I am a victim main saying that lol. In the previous meta, I always thought we should be punished for spamming close encounter. The game is supposed to be about stealth… but I think even the dev forgot that lol
I dont see why this is an "accidentally" buff. To me it is 100% intentional as family was on the backfoot the entire time AND they even said they're looking into ways to make LF scarrier. To me they have done just that.

With the new update, the family definitely got it. Nancy is like the least use killer and i never knew her stamina was broken so yes they should fix it But she is barley in the meta of the game so people don't really care plus scout getting a buff is not it especially when killers rush basement like crazy so them being faster and dealing normal damage is crazy

man i am a quick match main (family main) and i gotta say I think the family side can get a little too powerful. i wish the gap between how weak you can be with no perks and how powerful you can be with meta perks should be closer a little

They want easy wins that’s why they quit in the middle of the games when one victim escapes 😂 I just don’t like the hypocritical stuff. Johnny gets nerfed they whine and he gets reverted back to his original state. Danny tampers any objective they leave the lobbies because they can’t get easy wins 😂 Scout gets a buff and guess what no family members are leaving the lobbies because of that change. The Hitchhiker and Johnny mains use scout and fly around the map like they’re Usain Bolt and no family mains complain they’re obviously hypocrites. It’s ok when they get a buff but when the victims have an advantage nope that can’t happen they leave the lobbies like cry babies. Victim mains dc all the time and cry about everything. You guys need to try to play as family some, it's ok you can do it. But then you don't get to do your speedruns and the grapple mania stuff though so yah you are in a bit of a pickle I guess
Eh Victim is still heavily favored. Played for a good 3 hours tonight and EVERY match EVERY victim would just immediately grapple you, punch u In the face, run away Scott free. I think I won maybe 2 or 3 close encounters the entire night? Victims are still FAR too confident attacking the family. That HAS to change.
Skill issue maybe? Maybe get faster at pressing buttons! Im a family main and i preferred it when choose flight was useful. the choose fight meta is super annoying but you cant blame victims for using meta. im just mad at the devs for making a perk like choose fight, losing control of your character is super frustrating
So they tried nerfing hitch and Johnny with the update but ended up buffing leather face and Johnny in terms of damage with speed, tho cook is prolly who’s suffering the most from this cuz Stam regen on cooks meta build was already a problem but with scout it balanced but now his stam regen is gonna be worse so it’s not worth running it with cook any more, also can som1 tell me whether or not the new fired up works when u stop running or when completely out of stamina
It wasn’t no accident lol this game will be dead in two months at this rate. Victims have to feel like they have a fair chance if not they will stop playing
They really messed off the balance by changing this perk and empowered. Empowered wasn't really the problem with grapple spams, extended stuns from grapples and backstabs from that one perk (forgot it's name) were what people were complaining about. I myself play Victims and Family equally so my opinion is definitely not biased.
I'm glad I've stopped playing this train wreck of a game it's clear now that with every update and patch the idiot devs make the family even more stronger in a way it's really pathetic that the whole game is family sided I use to love playing this game but my god with all the helpful victim perks getting nerft now scout has a buff like are kidding me I'm so glad I don't play this shit show anymore
