@@apryctic I am honored. The cpu is old now but if it does the job it's all good. See if you can upgrade to an i3-10100F a new motherboard and some ddr4 RAM. You will not regret it. They are really affordable now.
FYI there's no need to rename the BIOS file if it's just an update, the BIOS Rename is used when you are using BIOS Flashback, when updating there's no difference at all, also Intel and AMD both can reboot a few times after a BIOS update is completely normal.
my system started rebooting few days after installing it. It was actually an issue with my CMOS battery. Replaced 2032 cell battery and all is good. old battery was at around .40volts lol. not sure how it was even holding up for such low voltage.
how is it your performance?? mine was updated recently ROG strix Z490-F and i7 10700 ( non - K ) and i've notice significant degraded on CPU - Z AVX Bechmark in 2701 bios my score was over 7k on multicore perfomance and over 700 single core performance but now it's 5k in multicore and 300 single core ? why was that?
@@neo2006b I didn't notice any performance decrease, but it's true I only edit videos now. I stopped gaming. After each BIOS update my system is snappier.

Hello! You have many videos on YT about it. I recommend you to undervolt the CPU to max 0.075 or something Like that. Personally I only tried it for a few days then when I saw instability, I came back to stock settings. The peace of mind is more important than a minor improve im performance.
Guys, I updated Intel ME first and then the BIOS. Now it's in a constant loop, the motherboard when it shows the white led, automatically restarts and tries to re-boot. It doesn't even load the OS. Anyone with the same behavior or any suggestions? Thanks
@@Meroving1an No. I just updated the Intel ME and when the process was finished it restarted the computer. At this point, the boot no longer loads, nor does it reach the operating system boot. I just changed the motherboard and it worked. Thanks.
Yes, I also updated ME and caught bootloop, flash old bios version for fix it, and never update to a new version, otherwise there will be bootloop again(((((
