This fucking breaks me. To see a man who just wants to live his best without getting manipulated and he only has his situation get worse hurts. Especially when he said he's very close to taking his own life. The wife has done nothing but tarnish his name all because he doesn't want to be around a person who makes him feel like dogshit. I hope Op finds a solution to this mess.
In Germany no one gives a fuck if Men get done wrong, most certaibly not the family courts. Tbh if his wife demands to be traditional, he should bring a second wife in the home, because men are sllowed multiple wifes in traditions.
There's a special place in hell for people like OP's wife and family.... I hope he finds peace and happiness. The kids are just being manipulated and are innocent in all this, they'll come around eventually. I just hope its not when they find out that their mother is the reason why their father committed suicide...
that's possible, but usually the people left behind that wronged the suicide victim take control of the narrative and he'll either be slandered by his wife(because she resents him) and kids(because they don't know better) or they'll say things that will garner them sympathy and support, maybe even money. What I'm getting at is that wrongdoers love to cast projections onto the silence of others for their own gain. That reason is enough to tough it out and avoid self harm.
It shouldn’t cost a human life to prove to wrong people that they’re wrong, it’s never worth it to commit and that same thing goes to OP in this situation, these people will never worth OP taking his own life. They will probably get worse if anything since then OP will be gone and won’t be able to defend himself or tell his side of the story. and the children are children, it’s not their fault that they’re getting manipulated by their own mother and they don’t deserve their dad offing himself, it might even perpetuate this lie that OP was abandoning them when that’s the last thing he ever wants to do.
@@hydehg1441 gosh that reminds me of a story I read on Reddit where a poor guy committed suicide because his wife cheated on him and his daughter wasn’t his - after he was working his butt off to support them. At his funeral/wake wifey spent almost the entire time whining about how “selfish” her husband was and how he had been a deadbeat who never took care of his family. The poor guy’s best friend (who knew the truth) lost his crap and dragged her out in the middle of the wake and screamed at her, exposing her in front of _everyone_ before storming out.
Problem isn't that they don't know the truth, the problem is that none of them care. Luckily he's in Germany so law is definitely going to come down hard on the mom for her shit, he'll probably have to abandon his community from the sheer backlash when that win comes though.
OP should just stay and make her life a living hell instead. "Oh, you know what? If you insist, fine, Ill stay but you have to get a job cause im giving up that 20%." Spend as much time with the kids as possible and play the victim until you alienate her back. Make her wish you left.
Stories like this just remind me of how lucky I am. That when someone wrongs me, my first thoughts and actions are "scorched earth" on them. To hit them back harder than they hit me. So, nobody really messes with me, or tries to wrong me for very long. I stand up for myself and don't tolerate foolishness. The moment the kids started acting that way to me, I would have said, "I'm divorcing mommy because mommy is a yiatch. She doesn't love me, she loves my money and is only upset her gravy train is ending. She quit her job to be a lazy slob and now that she's not going to be able to live on my income, she'll have to get a job again. She doesn't love me. She doesn't love you. She loves being a lazy slob." And would have then quit talking to my kids after that. Sure, it may hurt to cut them out like that, but that's a choice THEY were making, not me. THEY would be cutting me out, not the other way around. I'd grant no support in their lives until they gave me a proper apology and an admission of being wrong. A sincere one. People like that might be blood related, but they are NOT family. Family would hear your side of the story and take your situation into consideration. So, if you aren't family to them, why treat them as family to you?
The thing that piss me of the most in this story is the fact that OP just let's the wife gaslight the kids into thinking he is the bad guy instead of just telling them the truth.
but OP isn't just letting her gaslight the kids, he literally tried to talk to them and explain that he isn't going anywhere. the son won't listen to him and the daughter tries to hit him if he even tries to talk to her, the gaslighting from the mother went on for too long and OP was unfortunately not around enough to combat what the mother is saying to them. it's not his fault, not to mention, from the sounds of how OP is as a guy, he isn't being blunt with the truth because he probably didn't want his kids to hate their mother either
I would have gone to the doctor and told him I was over stressed by working long hours and my wife arguing about everything. If he said I needed to relax more and reduce working hours I'd have quit my job and told my wife the doctor said I needed to take some time off or I'll die. But that's okay we'll figure it out.
She wants to be a trad wife? No problem. She does all the house work, laundry, cooking(dishes too), house needs to be spotless at all times. Kids immaculate. When you walk in the door She should hand you a drink and dinner ready on the table. She should also be dressed immaculately at all times. No eating out, no takeout. She cooks EVERY meal. When you get up in the morning she should be dressed (heels and pearls) and a fully cooked breakfast (steaming hot) When you walk into the kitchen.
If we never get an update it will be because OP's wife and motther stressed him into a grave. And if there is any justice in this world,I hope there will be someone left to forever remind them of that.
I say this every time wannabe trad wife stories come up because I think it needs to be emphasized: Trad wife TikToks and memes are little more than displays of wealth, usually with a dash of self-righteousness thrown in.
He was kinda stupid not to see her manipulative tactics coming. He should have got ahead of that and told the kids the truth before the wrecking ball of a mother got her word in.
Will piss me the f*** off is that Opie doesn't give to flying s**** about telling the kids the truth tell him the kids why he's divorcing the mom and letting the mom poison the kids. I don't know if this is just rage bait but to tell you the truth the whole family needs to be thrown out he needs to start a new life change his name disappear from the town move to another place start a new life he deserves better.
