I know you’re all excited, so without wasting any time, let’s dive right in! The two new S-Rank characters we are going to see in Version 1.4 are none other than Asaba Harumasa and Hoshimi Miyabi. These names have generated a lot of buzz, and for good reason-both characters bring unique and exciting kits that promise to shake things up. So let’s start by breaking down their potential abilities, starting with Asaba Harumasa.
Asaba Harumasa is a tactical marksman who specializes in mobility, trap-based zoning, and precision attacks. His kit is built around his ability to control the battlefield while staying on the move. His Aimed Shot allows him to attack while repositioning, giving him the flexibility to avoid enemy pressure while maintaining offensive output. This mechanic, similar to Grace’s movement-based attacks, makes him a hard target to pin down in combat.
His main arrow attack also marks enemies, although it’s unclear what this mark specifically does-it may interact with his traps to enhance damage or trigger additional effects. However, trap management is key, When new traps are placed after the cap is reached, the oldest traps will detonate, adding another layer of strategy.
Trap generation comes from various sources in Harumasa’s kit. His Special ability and Counter mechanic each generate two traps, while his basic attacks, EX Special, and Chain Attack add even more to the count. The fifth hit powers up her Arcane Blade, setting up her next series of attacks for even greater damage. Her Sub-Attack, Shimotsuki, deals heavy Ice damage and requires her to build three Arcane Blade stacks. This ability also grants anti-interrupt protection, making it harder for enemies to break through her attacks.
Miyabi’s Special Attack, Miyuki, is a powerful line attack that further enhances her anti-interrupt abilities, ensuring she can continue her assault uninterrupted. Her EX Special Attack, Hanabira Yuki, unleashes a devastating slash while also granting an Arcane Blade stack and providing invulnerability during the move. This attack can also be charged, transforming it into a circular area attack that deals massive AoE damage.
For defense, Miyabi’s Dodge Attack, Mizutori, provides rapid invulnerability, allowing her to avoid incoming attacks.
Her Assist Attack, Kashin-Fū, strikes front enemies with Ice damage, keeping her invulnerable during the animation, which can be useful for quick offensive or defensive plays.So that's the info about Miyabi's Kit.
