YOOOOOOOOOOO WHATS UP! PSA Before you watch I called ESIEMO a tank (hes not btw) and I might be on some massive copium with Luna, but i really don't think she's that bad lol. Hope yall enjoy! Remember tier list are heavily opinionated based on player's play styles and you might feel way different about your character than I do! Hope yall enjoy! Edit - Ajax players forgive me for I have sinned. I love yall. But also give the dude a damn taunt Creator Code if interested: creators.nexon.com/global/creators?keyword=samuxplays
The only tank in the game (Ajax/ Ultimate Ajax) got nerfed in this season patch/ update. His Void Walker ? Charge transcendent mod on his Ultimate descendant form is fun to play though. He's my nephew's favorite descendant/ character. No biggie and cheers my guy @SamuxPlays.
@@SamuxPlays technically you weren't wrong to call Esiemo a tank. He's got one of the only taunts currently lol, but his kit is not to be played as a tank
After the buffs Blair is at least as good as Freyna. Personally I think he’s better. Also I don’t think you can justify Luna in S-Tier just because she’s nice to have. She only can amplify well built descendants, she doesn’t carry poorly built ones like an Enzo or a Yujin.
I think thats fair, as I said im bias towards support characters and Luna just felt like a really good QoL character to have on my team, I knew she was gonna be a hot topic, I maybe undershot a little bit on Blair but i dont think it was like by a huge margin, the only reason freyna was ranked so high was because her max secret garden zero room trauma build. Im gonna test out Blair some more after his buffs and ill make a follow up.
@@SamuxPlays I recommend trying weapon platform Blair first for bossing. He’s literally a better version of Supply Moisture Valby, and I know how highly everyone rates her.
@@skullshocked7449 how much time did you spend on him? Did you invest in a build? I think being able to burst for 2-3 mill with minimal MP drain is good.
@@skullshocked7449 that's not a full investment... Your opinion is yours and I understand how you feel, but I fully disagree. I've got 9 catalysts and have played with explosive and cluster bomb. Everyone will keep calling for a buff because people are used to running glass Lepic. I'm waiting for glass cannons to no longer be able to clear group content. It's coming sooner than people think.
@@williamr8327I’m with you on this one. Full catalyst eseimo with a bit of HP and recovery investment on the components with secret garden and can deliver nasty burst.
@@SamuxPlays 😂 fair call though as a ajax main he does need some minor tweakings ill give you that, i guess just from using him as a main since release i have a good understanding of his kit which is where my opinion on him being higher on a list comes from. But as you said its your opinion and i respect it 😊
@@uberLWKY lol thanks man, i think well see him become a lot more useful with new content in the future after the dps rush meta simmers down, also as others said i think giving him a taunt would go hard
Required tier: Sharen and Enzo. Every player should pick their "main" (a good farmer) recommend Bunny, and then you cook sharen and enzo. Everything else is just icing.
I think breaking this up into different specialties would make more sense. I wouldn't bother to rank regular and ultimate characters separately. If someone is serious about a character that has an ultimate, they're going to get the ultimate before spending any upgrades, with the possible exception of Gley since she's so hard to get.
Yeah im gonna do that next time, this was my first tier list so i couldve done better for sure, next time ill group them "best for bossing" "best for farming" and then best overall.
I prioritized Ultimate Bunny!!! And I'm so happy!! She's good at basically everything and with a maxed out gun can also do Intercepts! Bunny for LIFE! :D
Yep, like his 3rd ability when casted with Skill Expansion Mod & wide range can attract mobs or adds to attack him instead of the DPS. That's a cool concept.
YUP, I agree with most of your picks. I'd set Hailey as A-tier, because she's just not that good in dungeons. But at what she does, bossing, she's S or even SS tier. It's often, in games like this, where the start or even the first half year is all about damage. The support of Enzo en Yuhjin are also without annoyances. With the tanks, people have to be close or stand behind or in something. There's more agency with the other support, because the range is large or you can pickup a buff. To make tanks work, they have to be equipped with an "immunity" ability or something that ADDS to the group. Threat tables also need to be adjusted - let tanks generate more threat and allow a Hailey to reduce their threat. Either way, I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of bosses they will introduce. Even though Gluttony is the hardest boss in the game right now, I don't think that's the level of difficulty we'll see - I wouldn't be surprised if Gluttony will be an entry boss for the real hard bosses. The game is just preparing everyone for hard content, getting to know the descendants, leveling up the weapons, etc. Just so they can introduce real challenges later. I wouldn't be surprised if a 2 mill hitting Hailey on Gluttony is what you'll be aiming for future bosses.
I think they said deathstalker was going to be as hard as gluttony so well have to see what that looks like, and I agree, i think well for sure get more value off tanky characters / supports as the game progresses and the meta changes
I feel like all you really need is Ultimate Bunny and Hailey if someone is going for the most optimized time/cost/benefit ratio (Sharen and Enzo are a given for resource farming requirements). Hailey for colossi, Ult Bunny for basically everything else. Anything else is for when you get bored and want to have fun trying other descendants and builds.
Blair is actually pretty good now after the update with unlimited mana. You should check out the new builds and gameplay. He can also nuke bosses. If anything, a B tier. Hailey should be in A tier with lepic as she is just good for bossing and her mob build is not great.
I think you overvalued some of the supports especially ones that boost your damage especially Luna. Yes Luna feels good because that's what support characters do they make YOU feel better BUT instead of Luna on the team buffing people by a bit it would be far more optimal to just have one of the S tier bossing decendants in her place
Lol i like her a lot too, granted maybe putting her in S tier was a little too much and i might be on some copium but i really dont think shes as bad as everyone says she is
I highly disagree...you should have ranked them for the different needs first (aka mobbing vs bossing) ..then overall. Because a character thats only good for bossing shouldn't be higher than one that excells in both bossing and grinding overall. To have Bunny and Ult Bunny on the same level is also comical. With the buff to Blair and his many truly viable builds, to still rank him so low... you're not being fair to each descendants abilities. Even Viessa so low??? smh, I can go on down the list. This seems more of a tier list on your preferred play style and who you think is cool vs your knowledge and understanding of the game. (In the latter, a Descendant can not fit yout play style at all but you would still rank them correctly based on their known builds and current potential). All in all your opionion is your own...I just disagree with a lot of this. Seems rushed and ill-equipt to be held in any manner other than "nice to hear your opinion on who you like the most"...when most people come to content creators for well advised, researched and knowledgeable opinions/conclusions.🤷🏾♂️
I mean i have 500 hours in the game and I play a lot, I dont think i was that far off base, though i will agree with you that I could've split it up into bossing and farming and then into over all, thats not a bad idea, however, you shouldn't take tier list as gospel, its suggestions. No two content creators are going to have the same tier list, they are controversial and heavily opinion based. I still would rank base bunny S tier, i don't think she's bad at all, also Viessa isn't low, base viessa in B and Ultimate in A is fair imo, and in my defense i did say you could swap freyna and viessa depending on the situation. Viessa is one of my favorite characters but it doesnt change the fact that no one uses her for anything other than weapon xp prof farming. I understand you think Blair should be higher on the list but you have to match him up with the other dps's in the game, im not saying hes trash, im just saying there's better options that fulfill the "dps" role better. Even if i put blair in B tier it really wouldnt matter. I think the list is pretty fair tbh, but if you're a blair main and want me to test out a build lmk, id be happy to try it and see how it stacks up vs the others!
I mean I disagree with some Descendants like Esiemo because yeah of course nobody plays him because other Descendants just take a huge chunk of the spotlight plus he's just a base Descendant atm but he can be very very good when built really well and imo he's very fun to play. Also Blair got buffed recently and he's very good now from what I heard. You have also Luna who I really like personally but I would put her on A tier personally. Finally I also really like Viessa because yeah she is literally The First Descendant I picked (no pun intended lol🙃) but still she is very good imo but I agree there is better options but I would still put her in A though. As for the others yeah I agree.
Lol i started with Viessa too, ironically shes one of my favorite characters, but yeah i feel like most people just use her to weapon xp farm, shes still one of my favorites though, I think swapping her and freyna was probably the move but ehhhh i did mention you could swap em based on the situation, i have a fully built secret garden so my freyna pumps but thats like really high investment. This was very fun to do though, next time i think i will break it down a bit better though for bossing and mobbing and stuff rather than just in general!
A lot of these picks are made from lack of knowledge of the character’s kit, which isn’t a fair assessment. Luna is A tier at max. She has great farming potential with noise surge when fully built for it, but out the box she isn’t a good support like Yujin is. In a team with no skill power descendants, her usefulness drastically decreases. Her full support build provides almost no damage, so she compensates by boosting the damage of skill descendants. She has a mod now that boosts firearm stuff instead, but in that instance, Enzo is the better pick because he can ALSO shoot a gun himself. There is never an instance where Enzo joins a match and is useless, but if a nimble steps Luna loads into a lobby with an Enzo, sniper Sharen and supply moisture Valby now she’s useless. No one in S-tier should have that issue. Also Freyna being above viessa is insane when Freyna is the one getting the rework due to being underpowered. And Ult Lepic and Lepic being in 2 different tiers when they have the same kit is nuts. All the 1 shot Lepic builds use firearm master, but all that does is increase the skill MODIFIER, increasing the damage of lepic’s burn but not his actual ult burst damage. Base Lepic is still capable of doing the exact same thing.
theres 3 picks in here that are debatable which in the video i explained you could switch around depending on the situation, i said that i might be bias towards luna and might be on copium, i said you could switch freyna and viessa depending on the situation, and lepic being in A and ulti in S is fair imo, hes gonna get increased stats with the ulti form, your points were addressed in the video, im well aware of character kits, generally if i start with "hey im super bias towards this character but i like her so im gonna rate her high" and then make a pinned comment saying im coping, usually indicates that hey take this with a grain of salt for this character. Atleast in my mind thats how i portrayed it? No?
@@SamuxPlays those increased stats are minimal and irrelevant. Ult Lepic vs base Lepic is just a difference of 30 more HP (assuming lv 40), 50 more shields, and 1500 defense…all of which are irrelevant because they both have the same base crit rate and dmg multiplier as well as the same MP. The main difference between an ultimate and base descendant is the 2 extra trans mods they get and the fact that they come with 2 more socket mod slots. You can do the exact same thing with either. Hence why that ranking doesn’t make sense.
I kinda like playing Ajax, but mostly because I like mixing it up. I agree with your take that he needs buffs. It would be twisting words maybe, but in my sense of the word "tank", he is not even that. It would mean they had to implement some kind of mechanic that alloved him to attract agression. If they did that he would be much more usable... in my opinion
