Interesting how this crossing got a new logic system, unlike the other two in the area. That sounder on the other side does appear to be turning on and off, I've never heard that before!
Believe the barrier pedestals were renewed in Oct 2023 by S&T Cover Ltd, suspect the crossing locations and circuitry remain original (1982) and a minor circuit modification has been made to allow the sounders to operate when the barriers are down. Great video, many thanks.
@@kevinleech6335 Yes, probably. But it's a bit odd how that modification was done to this crossing, yet Wylye and Upton Lovell remain with their original settings.
@@MGRinger02 I agree, I would have expected any upgraded crossings to have had the sounder circuits updated to current standards. i.e. enable the sounders to operate with the barriers down. Guess it may need a design alteration!
