Speaking of not knowing how they'd make another New Vegas, I literally visited the goodsprings saloon and general store a day ago and the bartender asked me if I liked fallout while I was buying a shirt. I said yeah and he told me about a big fallout party they're having there in July. He went on talking about how the saloon had new owners and they were in talks with the gaming company (no idea which one he was referring to specifically) to start getting actual fallout merch there and I quote "SINCE THEY'RE MAKING ANOTHER ONE WITH VEGAS IN IT". Obviously can't say how legitimate any of that is, but it was still interesting and figured I'd say something. Love your videos btw, thank you for always making great stuff 💖

If they did make a theoretical "new vegas 2" I hope it's set in San Francisco, there was a line that was cut talking about how it was destroyed so it could possibly be used as a future location. Honestly San Francisco and its surrounding area would be really cool setting, working for the yakuza and other crime and raider factions.

Proof that NV is great (and not that much less stable) even when you shuffle assets randomly like a deck of cards. As for 'NV2', folks forget that Obsidian isn't the dream team it was in the 2000s. Games are partly a product of their dev cycles, and NV is what it is (or isn't in the case of all the cut content) due to those crazy 18 months they had to make it happen. Even if they managed to get just some of the old MVPs alongside decent newer talent, the franchise is now a cash cow, and I really doubt the publisher would give them carte blanche where it matters. Hey, at least we'll always have NV and its modding scene.
