Saw Manson for the first time on May 10,1997. Last time was with Rob Zombie on the Twins of Evil tour. I ended up going to 19 Manson shows. Really miss seeing him. Also met his father and hung out with him after a show in Richmond VA. Really hope all will be good and he can make a comeback

I’ve always been a fan and have looked to MM for inspiration in art and in other facets of life. I’ve always said that I want to be the MM of body art. I remember reading his autobiography and finding as many interviews with him that I could when I was in middle school. I derived my philosophies about freedom, spirituality, self-expression, art, and existentialism from his example to further understand the role I want to play in my life. That doesn’t mean I follow his every example like a mindless disciple and I don’t feel comfortable with some of the things he does (I wish he was more cool with John 5, I wish he wouldn’t have let ERW get under his skin so much when that whole thing started, etc.) but he’s human and when you push boundaries like he does, it’s gonna happen that you lose your footing in certain situations. In any case, I always reference his mentality and attitude to navigate my life. We are Chaos was the definition of a masterpiece and I look forward to next masterpiece. I only wish I could thank this mf for existing.
