I worked as security at a 4 star hotel. We ALWAYS have someone watching the cameras. We see EVERYTHING! And that's just a 4 star hotel. This is a 5 star hotel.... they for sure have more than one person watching the cameras. The hotel NEEDS to be investigated....

As a woman who experienced domestic violence the level of hatred and pain that bubbles up in me seeing this is tremendous, I couldn’t stop crying seeing this!!!!!!!!!!
I literally broke down in flowing tears seeing this happened to Cassie knowing I, myself coming out of an abusive relationship and knowing how I use to also feel like it was always my fault and felt like I couldn’t leave him because he would always manipulate with fear or even love.
What’s disturbing as well is that the public surveillance cameras in the hotel hallway is not a deterrent for him. People like him will deny , deny and deny allegations and he could potentially end up killing a woman due to DV. I hope his X has moved on in a healthy way and has sought help to break the cycle of being with abusers. He belongs in prison.

I don’t really think so. Usually surveillance video is pulled for evidence if the surviving victim actually files charges. I pretty sure if someone is deleted the authorities will automatically get access to video. I will say in this case someone saw this and it’s probably because Diddy brought it to their attention in order to pay the 50K.

There are actually protections for patrons of the hotel. Typically they don’t get involved. I was property manager and reported child endangerment and I was reprimanded and written up for it… it’s crazy! These companies only care about money…

As a survivor of domestic violence, this video is so triggering. They will tell you to leave, but you are never free to leave. Fear keeps you in the relationship. It’s a horrible, vicious cycle, and I’m lucky to have gotten out alive.

It’s probably like that for many wealthy people. The hotel staff would have no idea that you want to rent the entire floor so you can beat up your girlfriend in privacy. It’s not their fault. Did they review those tapes immediately or do they review them only if there’s a problem?
