She seems very intelligent and intense. I think she's been trying to decide to commit suicide. Hope I'm wrong but I've worked with mental health for 25 years and I think she got stuck in a moment she couldn't get out of safely. Never do self harm if you would be outraged at violence happening to others don't do it to yourself. Take yourself seriously and remember this is a medical emergency. I mean the news jumps on these stories like flies on poop...but they are actually pretty rare...in fact they are WAY MORE likely to get harmed by someone they know. I think it is pretty clear she is emotionally disturbed and that does not bode well for her being found safely. You don't just cancel plans of going to a wedding while you are on the way to the wedding, and then cancel plans to meet a friend. A lot of things must of been going on in her mind and she is found by officers, alone and crying. They check on her safety, but, there is not much they can so as long as she denies not being in distress. We don't hear about what caused the two flat tires, whether they appear to be caused by road damage or by human activity, so, we have no clues as to why she was "stuck" in that area.
No, they said FLAT TIRES on the right side. Tires is plural, meaning more than one. Other reports, (not this one) say "two flat tires". I heard it correctly, tires, not tire. So, I don't have listening issues, you have issues understanding grammar.@@lemonadelemonspinklemons
She was expected to drive to the wedding, but called and told her parents she would be camping INSTEAD. Other reports give more details, including "A witness described 33-year-old Grimm as “confused” at a hotel in Seligman, after she called her parents about abandoning her cross-country trip to a Connecticut wedding and returning to California instead. The witness said she was trying to use Euros instead of dollars. @@lemonadelemonspinklemons
I camped in the Williams area a couple of weeks ago. It is a popular area for RVs and vans, campers of all types. She would have no problem camping near someone for safety or asking for help from someone. A lot of people probably saw her. It might be a good idea to post her missing on Facebook camping groups if you haven’t already.
Idk if this is a good thing……… nothing worse than a violent human that could have prayed on her. Your safer out alone in the woods than next too an RV: truck stop!
She probably got emotional and didn’t want to attend the wedding since she was single herself. Probably also had problems herself. My guess is someone took advantage of her vulnerability or she hiked somewhere to end her life.
@user-sd1sf2jd6i I think it was Canyon's Edge. I stayed there one night in May 2012 during a cross-country move. Read their lowest reviews cuz I definitely got a low review kinda room.
She could still be alright. I had a friend who had a bad mental health crisis and abandoned his car and stuff in the white mountains, when they found him he was still alive and somehow had made it to Montana. He just had a mental break and started walking, hitchhiked and was gone for like 2 months. I was sure he was dead.
"scheduled to drive from San Diego to Connecticut but stopped in Arizona instead"... So, the plan was to drive 42 straight hours and it's a surprise that she stopped in Arizona??? I'm a seasoned traveler, and NOBODY plans to drive 42 hours straight, even truckers. It's illegal as well. Everything about this story is complete BS...

@@vaevz I don’t think you are either. I totally agree, that wasn’t very smart to travel ALONE and to go to some remote place like that on her drive. I pray she’s okay 😪🙏🏻
I love that the officer pointed out Love's to her as a safe place to sleep. I'm sorry that her car was found abandoned and there has been no activity on her phone or credit card since then though. 😢🙏
tbh i travel cross country, if I was in a remote area at night like that, a cop came up to my window and suggested a Love's nearby as a safe place, my instincts would have me high tailing it to the Love's pretty quick. I use them as a resting point frequently anyway. Sounds like she did the opposite and continued to hang out in isolated areas after that
You can only manage to dodge a bullet so many times. Even as a man I would not be camping alone in full sight in area's next to a road with little traffic ....
For all the comments saying the cop did it….no…since other people reported seeing her after the cop spoke to her. The last person to report seeing her was a woodcutter who talked to her. There’s no way of knowing whether that person did something or not. Someone else could have come in contact with her or she could have just wandered off into the woods and got lost…either on purpose or by accident. Maybe she was looking for water. They need to examine her tires and see what flattened them….whether it was on purpose or not. A person could have come up on her and punctured her tires so she couldn’t drive off….or maybe she wanted to disappear and make it look like something happened to her. She was acting odd though….supposed to go to a wedding but then decides to go camping in her car instead in some unfamiliar place that’s not even a camp ground.
She was not changing plans by camping. She was camping along the way to a wedding on the other side of the country. You know it takes several days to drive across the country so people usually sleep somewhere along the way. I drove to Saint Louis from LA to visit family and camped somewhere every night of the trip. There is nothing unusual about that.
Yes there is a possibility that the cop returned to her since he knew that she was traveling on her own and where she was traveling. He carries a gun correct? So he could have flatted the tires with the gun or just removed the little knob to let the air go. Police need to inspect how the tires went flat. The prints around the car. Are there signs of other vehicles close to her car?? Man foot prints? Was her phone tracked? I am sorry for her family. I hope this mystery is solved soon and she returns home safe
@@Peace-nm6bx she changed her plans before meeting the cop. She was also in distress but claimed it was about soldiers sacrifice. Obviously the flat tires are the key to this. She may have flattened them to force herself to go through with a s..cide. Or an abductor may have flattened them to make it look like she went for help and got lost. Her phone’s metadata would tell the story. If that is missing its probably an abduction. Women rarely drive cross country and camp alone with no planning. She is likely in distress and has been from the start
Well, for all intents and purposes, the cop could've gone back, and we all know there's lots of shady cops on this planet. I'm not gonna say he did anything since I'm not psychic, but I hope he's at least fully investigated, as well as others that saw her. I hope she's okay though.

She seems naive and a bit to trusting. Maybe she did not harm herself at all. And was out camping where her car was found. Either way she maybe found near her car soon.
Past mental health “struggles,” as her parents have reported, and another report that she appeared “disoriented” at a hotel in AZ on the 28th don’t bode well; or maybe she was just high at that hotel (the LEO who contacted her in AZ smelled cannabis and she said she had smoked some earlier that day). Anyway, in short, I have a hunch her mental health has much to do with this poor gal’s disappearance. This one doesn’t feel good in my belly, folks, but let’s hope and pray there’s a happy ending to this story.
From her tone in the body cam footage, and her cancelling the meeting with a friend, and just “camping out”…definitely sounds like a mental health situation
I've dealt with someone with mental illness for some years and using marijuana makes it worse, but they don't listen because they feel self medicating is the better option. Whether it be marijuana or liquor, it is quite a difficult process to maintain mental illness if the person isn't on some form of regiment.
@@jaymoose4337Hey pal, you're silly. I was an alcoholic and come from a family of alcoholics, and the only time I was able to get sober was when I focused on caregiving for people who need marijuana, including myself, as a medicine. So climb off the delusional mountain you're on.
Flat tires on right side? Both tires? She had very little situational awareness. This was totally preventable if she made better decisions. Literally 2 people tried to help her.
I guess I'll be the one to mention all the people coming over the border there that we have no idea who they are... Bad place to be vulnerable and alone.
Yikes. I’ve been living in my van for six years. I never park off by myself it makes me nervous. Always around others. If her tires were flat (all of them?) that sounds like someone did that so she wouldn’t get away.
You realize the vehicle still can _drive_ right? Two flat tires isn't going to stop it. Why was it just parked, and not _crashed_ ? Why only *_two tires_* on the same side? Why no signs of a struggle? So many women in the comments just making wild assumptions. lmao " I never park off by myself it makes me nervous. " We're talking about someone that potentially took their own life - why would you try to frame it logically like this when self-preservation may not be a factor in this case? There are *_countless possibilities_* as to what happened, if she was struggling mentally, there's not much sense in trying to dissect what little evidence you and I are privy to - she may well have flattened her own tires for reasons we can't fathom.

I want to know more about the flat tires. Was it clear that the tires were punctured in the immediate vicinity? Was it a curb check on a road before the dirt road? Were they sabotaged somehow? Is a massive search underway?
Agreed. Flat tires only happen a few ways and should make obvious how it happened. I suspect they have this info and are not releasing it on purpose for investigative reasons.
@@nobodynoone2500I'm a life long hiker/hunter, if I had a nickel for every time I had a flat on the hunting area's dirt roads (caused by random rocks) I'd have a pocket full of nickels. So the flats may have occurred naturally while driving. If she was free to make a call on her cellphone, I'm sure she would have. Even if it lost power she could recharge it from her vehicle's power port. I think some evil person has taken her. They need to run a PSA on tv spots and news and have a hot line to call and a reward. If she was attending a friend's wedding, surely she would have called them to tell them she was gonna be late or miss it. Also, she might have gotten depressed by being a bridesmaid instead of a bride or if she was to be the bride it could be a "coldfeet" scenario like "the Runaway Bride" that faked being abducted and instead hit the casinos.
This poor woman sounds unstable. Driving coast to coast alone with a lizard is reckless and odd. Realizing that she will arrive late on a 3,000 mile drive after going only 300 hundred miles indicates deeply flawed planning. Then she diverted all alone at night into the AZ wilderness, while apparently ignoring the advice of police. And how does a late model SUV get two flat tires at the same time, both on the right side, on a dirt road? Were they punctured? Pothole damaged? Vandalized? This sounds like a terribly unfortunate ending.
@@misterdinkly Maybe so. But it would still be severely unbalanced for her to fake her disappearance and then put family and friends through emotional torment. And since this seems obvious to us at first glance, imagine what the parents know and have not shared.
If it's two tyres on the same side it could make sense - both could have hit the same obstruction. Similarly, though, someone slashing tyres would more easily pop two on the same side...
