It's olive toned for sure! And it definitely oxidized! I'm glad I didn't pick it up though. It's too matte for me. Looks pretty on you ♡

I am 64 with dry skin and this is one of my favorite foundations now! I don't use primers at all and use powder bronzer and blush but I love this and am happy I got it. You look great no matter what you wear! xo

I was at ulta this morning makeup free and I had to try this... I personally and this is just my opinion, I was excited and primer free, felt that it made my usually normal pores look like strawberry seeds... put it back right away but i may be persuaded to give it a shot again after this!! Thanks for this video!!

Rose and Ben beauty suggested to work in sections since it’s long wearing. And since I work at a big box beauty store, our informational video we watched suggested that you swatch several shades and wait at least two minutes so it can oxidize and dry down before choosing your shade.

As a person with oily skin, well the older I get the more normal skin I have just with an oily t zone. Any who, I find matte formulas actually cause me to be even oiler no matter how I moisturize, prep and prime. I go for natural finish foundations, I find those formulas to withstand the longest without touching up.

I would love to see you do a video of all the products that would be in your make up collection if you weren't a beauty influencer/youtuber!

I got a sample of this foundation and I loved itt!!!! I didn't had any problems with it and I have oily skin. I also used cream products for blush and bronzer. It looked beautiful thought the day. I have never used a foundation like that. I will definitely be purchasing the foundation. I even received compliments on my makeup all day🤍

I love watching how you blend with a sponge. Weird, but you're the only one that when you blend with a sponge gives me an ASMR effect. I'm weird. You're not. You are awesome!

The dot situation happened to me with Chanel Numero Une, I used that foundation so many times. I feel like it was my primer. I didn’t have that issue with this foundation

I like this foundation, but I don’t use cream products on top of it. I find it’s definitely very dry but if you skip the cream stuff it should work better

Kvd definitely oxidizes! I used 48n & 54n-58n for my summer/self tanner shadwa. in her original lock it so far light 12 😳 & think my darker shade would be light 18 or 21. I feel like from my experience with this brand of product they definitely oxidize. Also, I’m not normally one to have to use the same brand primer as the foundation, but with the original lock it I found that the primer made a world of difference with the foundation. With that being said they were out of stock at Ulta on the new lock it pore refining primer so I’m trying it with the lock it hydrating primer. I haven’t gotten a chance to wear this yet, but just wanted to share! Thought maybe it might help with some of the issues you were having! Which still is frustrating when buying a foundation. It should be able to perform without having to buy all the necessary products to go along with it! Hope this helps. Love your page ❤️

I think a very moisturizing primer with this foundation is the way to go for you ...i have oily skin type too and a moisturizing primer helps matte foundations sit better on my skin..🫶love your videos btw

I bought the KVD serum foundation but the colour I got is way too light, so I mix it with my Huda Beauty in Balaklava which is way too dark - I had the same issue as you - the Sheglam bronzer & blush removed all my makeup - it sucks!! I thought it was just me - glad I’m not the only one! 😞

Omg thank you for this! I bought this because my fave oily skin girl raved about it and I wore it and had the same thing happen when I put my gently contour on. Plus I have mature skin at 43 and it was so drying and emphasized all my wrinkles and texture even with my hourglass primer. I am giving it to my daughter…. Thank god she has my skin tone

I wonder if the blend-ability of of cream products on this foundation would work better if after you put the cream products on but before you blend, you spray with a hydrating face spray? I like to use the iconic London one if I feel my face is getting dry. However, I personally judge a foundation heavily on if it works with all types of products. There are toooo many good foundations out there that are not as finnicky as that. They need to get their head in the game lol.

Hell of a green tinge. Hell of a green tinge. Kvd, all the way back to OG lock it, has been full of *almost* in performance. Am I still going to try it since Lancome messed with Tient but I have low hopes.

I watched Robert Welsh review yesterday, as he also has oily skin. He also said it oxidized. After just 2hrs he was getting oily. I don't think this is gonna be a big hit

It’s crazy because I have really dry sensitive skin and I just moisturized heavy no primer and I used the foundation minimal and I had no issues with it melted along side my other cream products too 😅😅

sometimes it is harder to keep in mind that some products ingredients don’t go well together. like maybe the hourglass primer and the kvd foundation isn’t a good pairing because it could make other products lift or not sit well on the skin for whatever reason.

It’s too olive that’s why it looks green. It did oxidize. I think it looks heavy. Second color looks great, makeup came out very nice.

Have you tried the Make up by Mario foundation?

I was hoping you to set it first with powder and to use powder products the second time to see how it works with them. I prefer powder products than cream. I feel that cream products move the foundation.

I have to mix that foundation with a drop or 2 of oil. Then it works better for me, or a pump of moisturizer.
