Thank you girl! You are so thorough with your reviews. I like your pickiness and you are so right for the price of both of those foundations the packaging sucks. I got the original double wear on QVC and they threw in the pump for free. A girl has to save money wherever she can. Gracias ☺️

Both of them look wonderful in you, but I prefer the look and oil control on the original ELDW side. That foundation is my holy grail! I find that I can thin it out, depending on what I want.

@@Boelle. The best thing for me is using a paddle style foundation brush with a small amount of product and smoothing it over my skin. Any areas where I see pores, I can gently tap the end of the brush in a stipple motion to disguise the pores. I apply a very thin layer all over and go in with another layer only where needed. The second best way is with a beauty sponge.

Hola! I was surprised at how much coverage the sheer gave compared to the OG. I thought it would be a more notable difference. I finally picked up the Lancôme concealer last night! It’s soo good! 🤗

I have dry skin but when I wear makeup it gets pretty oily & I hate it, I want something for flash photos & I’ve heard Estée Lauder is the best for oily skin but everyone I’ve seen wear it, it doesn’t stay matte & their oils do eventually come through so I’m guessing it’s inevitable?🥺 how do these girls look flawless all night long & me with my dry confused skin getting shiny lol

Hey!! I commented on another video not to long about about the double wear stay in place. I went to Sephora and got matched to the shade 3n2 wheat. It’s a good match in the end, but slightly light on my forehead, I’m in Australia and it’s winter here. I definitely think I’ll have to get 4n1 for summer once my tan bounces back! But I’m absolutely loving the foundation. It’s my favorite. I bought the kvd balm, and fenty skin tint because of you (and our same shade 😆) and it’s fantastic to have found your channel. I use the fenty for simple no make up looks. But double wear for the win!! Throwing out the kvd lol…

Is it possible to “sheer” out the original double wear? I don’t love super full coverage, but I still want to find something with great lasting power, and after seeing the comparison I love the look of the original.

Yes you can! ☺️ you can use a moisturizer, oil, or a thin formula foundation to mix it in & sheer it out! Yes agreed! 😆💄😍

I used to use double wear & IDK why I stopped! I have really oily skin, & I think I waited so much money on products & skincare too but I think I stopped just bc I thought it was a little too dark, but I been trying it again & it isn’t! it’s so good!! so I will be continuing using !!😅😇🥰💯❤️🩷🖤💜🤍❤️‍🔥 #mattealldayeveryday #idontlikeshineyyyyy loll
