I bought 3 of them. One thing that Def needs patched is when the TV is off and you wanna use it as a regular Google home it turns your TV on.

Dang, that's a deal breaker for me. Plus I have a Nest mini that I use in the bedroom as a radio, white noise generator for sleep, and alarm clock and everything I read says "hey google" or "hi google" will be answered by the ONN and the Nest. When is Google gonna provide customized wake words per device? Seems like a no-brainer. But wow, what a great review Nathan Carter.

Have had mine since yesterday afternoon. And so far it's an excellent device for streaming I've had no lagging. Like others have said I would definitely like them to see if they can push out an update to make my Google assistant work when you're not using the TV and be able to play music through the speaker on the device. And the only other issue that I really have had which is most likely some type of Netflix issue but even though I said it to pick the dynamic range option it automatically puts everything into Dolby vision even if it's just regular HD content

Hi, if you jailbreak one of these would you be able to watch newer shows and movies that are shown on Hallmark and lifetime? If not I wouldn't want to purchase one because I don't want to watch a lot of old movies and shows that I have already seen it wouldn't be worth the money to me. I have a LG TV and it comes with a lot of free streaming channels but there's only a few of them that I like and they repeat a lot of the same shows.😊

I am very disappointed with the Onn 4k pro, I use Sling TV to watch live TV and it is not available in the Google play store nor can you side load it. I can't use this because I can't use sling TV, if this issue is not fixed wiithin a month I will be returning this box.

I got Sling to install and working now. Odd work around I discovered as after the Onn 4K updates were installed and I set up, I sideloaded SlingTV by searching for the APK in Downloader and installed it and it would open but immediately close. Previously in the Google Home App linked a few of my accounts like SlingTV and after factory reset during 2nd set up Sling came up and in the Google Home app of list of link account suggestions and I selected SlingTV. After the Onn 4K finished setup, I went to Google Play to install apps and Sling was listed as an App from my other device's and I checked it and installed and is working. However, the Google Play store still does not show it and says it is not available for my device.

Maybe you got a defective device,because Sling is available on my onn 4k device.

Try doing a factory reset and when going through the setup process again you should see Sling listed on the app list of available apps to install.
