the modules should all have alternate builds moving forward, it’s such a great idea and allows for more creativity. gives me the same vibes as the back of old star wars boxes that have crazy alt builds
If I had the room to display them I’d love to purchase and make that “full” display of Hogwarts. The bridge is probably my favorite of the two possible builds given but I think that’s just my strange attraction to castle bridges in general lol
I didn't expected you could build that bridge! I think I even like more that alternate build than the main one. I also like the dynamism this set offers. So, will you try to ensemble a Hogwarts Castle with all these recent years sets? It would be nice to see a video of your take on Hogwarts Castle :3
unironically one of the best Harry Potter sets. Not because of the fancy magic things you can get... okay maybe because of that too, but the minifigures are amazing!
I haven’t bought many of the Hogwarts expansions from the last year or so because im not too keen on this style of Hogwarts. I much prefer the older playsets from 2018/2019 etc… However I will probably pick this one up. I love the minifigure selection and I especially like the viaduct design.
as a fellow fan of the books and movies (not the merch prices) i wouldnt be suprised that we would be hyped by that one rock in deathly hallows with the amount of deathly hallows stuff lego is coming up with
ah i love when they give us a ton of new cool effect/power pieces in bags like that and when they give multiple of the cool weapons, like they did with ninjago and other things. just makes life much better ! :D
would've loved to see you try to put together all the expansions as shown in that pic you talked about... it's. a shame you didn't keep them together though
Im trying to built the howle hole…idk how to spell but the official Lego hogwarts castle. I saw a photo of the whole thing sadly I haven’t watched both of your vids jet so I don’t know if you showed it.hope you will do it too
Do like the alternate build as well but hope to also eventually get the sets all combined to the full castle. Right now they are on a long shelf side by side due to space limitations but I'm sure that is the same for many others
I’ve got some questions about the knew transparent piece, can both ends attach to lego poles? Or just the one, and with the knew wand, is it noticeable it’s knew, and how does it look without the transparent piece? I would love it if you made a quick short just showing the wand with the transparent piece and without it same for the transparent piece with and without the wand attached!
Those light gray bricks are really inexcusable at this point. They do not look good and I think them being a fourth color makes too many of these builds look too busy and less pleasant to the eye.
Now the castle seems finished, I hope they do new Hagrid's hut. I mean: that's part of it. Isn't it? Also, we did not have seen a new version of the hut for some time.
This set is pretty good, but the figures continue the problems that HP figures have had since basically 2019. They’re small things, but they add up quickly to make a somewhat sloppy or disrespectful feeling end result. Female characters don’t get new face prints, some characters who need it don’t have leg printing, Voldemort’s wand is white (it’s very obviously not in this scene) and there’s hypocrisy when it comes to who can be included and who can’t. For example, Cedric wasn’t in the graveyard duel set, but Scabior, Bellatrix, Nagini and Voldemort are here. It’s weird and when you collect all of the sets and minifigures, it’s really noticeable as well.
I recently built the ministry of magic moc by JL.BRICKS and I used these new wands and their blast effects pieces to replicate the Voldemort vs Dumbledore fight in the Atrium
In my honest opinion, these sets are cool for only the figures. The builds are really awful as they are 90% open. These should have been priced more for an enclosed interior
