I grew up in Offerton, in the paper shop opposite the Puss in Boots, and not been to Stockport for about 20 years. Nice to find a channel that connects me back to my home town. So I subscribed. Cheers, Mike.

Thanks for the compliment or should I say both of them, working most of the week 😟 but off Wednesday Thursday so will get a couple of videos done and get them out next weekend. I always try and get one out in a Sunday as most people off and can enjoy it then. 👍
Looked like a great deal, Greg, and definitely enough for two. You've had some good and bad Chinese meals on this channel (especially when it comes to the chips) but that looked very tasty with all of the vegetables looking fresh as well. And it being just around the corner means it will always be warm when you get back. I'm surprised at the number of Chinese takeaway's you have in Edgeley.
Hi Stocky, I love chow mein too, I always get chicken and ours also has broccoli, cauliflower, mushrooms and topped with cashews but no spring onion 😔 maybe next time I will try a beef one....that was a good amount of chips compared to what I end up with (about a 1/3 of what you got) Thank you for the review and much love from New Zealand x
Great review Gregg Chow mein looked great and one of my favourite dishes but would be great if you try the Curry there sometime, If this shop is where im thinking (back of the Alexandra pub) i used to go there in the 70`s when it was a chippy run by a married couple proper old school and top quality they even sold fresh fish and tripe and cow heel i wonder if any of your subscribers remember that ? i used to live on Avondale rd not far away. Been reheating chips in the air fryer for ages greg, if we get a salt and pepper box from d and f kitchen that gets reheated the next day as well, comes out bang on greg . Take care mate
I’ve learnt to carry both doing these reviews most do you like to pay cash as they get charged when you use your card so I can understand them wanting you to pay cash. So I usually ask them how they would like me to pay.👍

I must say Chinese can’t make good chips they always seem to be soggy. However I can recommend putting them in the air fryer next day. It’s a new sensation.👍👍
I like how you always give the full address of the places you visit. So many reviewers only say the name of the venue and the town. What use is that if you are not from that town? From the few reviewers i watch, there is only Darren John in London and yourself who give the full address, so well done my friend.
Hi David thanks for your comments about the address I’m from Stockport in Greater Manchester, however my brother is a Chelsea pensioner as you’ll probably guess from my blogs. I visit him twice a year so only manage a few reviews in London each time I visit him. I totally agree with you on the address’s if it’s not on the blog it’s in the description below the video. 👍
