I've never been able to tie a tie the way I was taught. One watch through this video and I was able to get it right away, thank you for posting this!!!
If you are not a teacher...you should be! Exquistly clear and perfectly paced! Impressed with tie technique...but even moreso with presentation skills!
I couldn’t even learn tying a tie after watching my dad do his own & mine for a decade, and even trying to teach me step by step; but THIS one makes SO MUCH sense, is simple, and works!! Thank you so much!
I just spent the last 20 minutes working on this using the wrong hand so the smaller end was hanging out in front. Got it in the end though. Great video!
I tried tying a tie using several introducing videos, but only yours helped me, which is REALLY simple and quick. Not like others "really". Thank you! ❤️
If there's anything I've learned over the past few years, I've been getting into ties, is that there are a TON of different ways to tie a necktie. Always, always try it for yourself, if only for the simple joy of learning something new.
Okay, so I just HAD to try this. Watched video twice, grabbed a tie & tried it. Works perfectly! Thanks for the video! 👍😎👍 (Edit: …and the length was just right!)
This tie method is both the EASIEST yet the HARDEST at the same time. It is easy to replicate but, when you actually perform the tie, it usually ends up with the smaller tie being in front of the big toe which leaves you wondering "how did I get here?".
@@nicolemcginlay8687 I would recommend the four in hand tie method. It's easy to do and looks ok however, if you want the classic v shape you will have to pinch the tie. Although I wouldn't worry because pinching the tie is so easy that even a toddler can do it.
I don’t know who came up with this BRILLIANT TECHNIQUE, but I nominate them for the Nobel Prize for Innovation. For anyone, like myself, who has never been able to tie a Windsor Knot, this is like finding the wining lottery ticket. THANK YOU SOOO MUCH. You have a lifelong fan. Have A Wonderful Day! 🛻🚤🏖️
I needed this. I'm left handed, my dad was also, he was the only one who could help me learn to put on a tie. My dad is no longer alive and I haven't worn a tie in over 7 or 8 years. Thanks for helping me.
WOW! In 5 seconds I did this. The other methods, I have to try at least 5 different times(to this day, I can't tie one properly without video help). JOB WELL DONE! Love this post!
My service compulsion was to wear a tie on the occasion when Delhi Officers inspected our office. Every time I had to take assistance of other for this tie. Now onwards I need no assistance. Your video make it so easy. Thanks alot.
What!!! My fiance said he doesn't get his tie-knotting straight and asked if I can knot tie. I was dumb! I'm 30 and cannot knot a tie! He said I should learn oh because I'd have to knot all his ties for him. He is tired of packing them to work for his female colleagues to help him out. I've watched 5 videos and I couldn't wrap my head around the whole thing. I was tired already and I saw this video. And you did the magic. You are goated! ❤
I prefer a larger triangle, that doesn't turn sideways throughout the day. So like the other responders, I prefer a Double Windsor for Spread collars. But if you wear Narrow or button-down, a single can be the way to go. Especially with thicker ties.
👍Dear brother All those watch this video and learned will ever remember you in their entire life such a new thing you taught us. Thanks and may HOD bless you
im flabbergasted! in 7 days im going to high school and with new way to tie a tie i dont know how so i search up this video pop up my screen! thank you so much for making this video Mr.Tie!
My husband & I have been married almost 30y & he has only worn a tie once & that was to a wedding (not ours we eloped). I feel women should know how to tie ties too & us mom's should teach our daughters or sons. Unfortunately, I didn't have anyone to teach me & I have struggled it seems like forever trying to teach myself how to tie one. This is truly the only method I have actually been able to tie a tie & remember it as well! So my hat is off to you sir! Thank you so very much! I will most definitely be using this method of how to tie a tie to my daughters & my husband. Who knows maybe it will get him to wear a tie more often & want to dress up & take me out someplace nice? Hey, a girl can dream can't she? Anyway thanks again!
I know how to tie a tie when I'm putting it on myself, but for some reason, I can't repeat it on someone else. I always have to say give it to me and tie it on myself then loosen it and give it back. This is a great teaching for those who have trouble.
Wow you a life saver I'm a single mom of a boy with not many man around. His graduating and I just got him a tie and thanks to this I was able to do it perfectly in the first try. Thank you so much
What is good about so many of these how to tie a tie videos is that not every way works best for every person. So you can try several ways and use what works the best for you. Thank you for the video, Happy New Year!
