quick overview of my WBP milled Mini Jack this is the 2nd iteration of my AK pistol remember to always clear your firearm and practice trigger and muzzle discipline
An old surplus bazooka sling swivel can be Dremeled out and fit between the triangle brace and it's mounting hinge. Gives that classic krink style mount for your sling and it's much more stable.
I also have a milled mini jack. Went a different route than you did for many parts but same idea overall. I do have a couple of recommendations for you that you can either consider or ignore. For your rear sling attachment SB Tac makes a QD cup that weaves into the brace strap for like 15 bucks on their website. I bought one to try out but dont have it yet, maybe you should think about it. If it works its definitely a better option than what you currently have going on. If nothing else you can fish the sling through the slit that secures the strap to the brace on the top end, not ideal but better than having it move all around. I went with a SOB brace on a slick AR tube because it's more solid than that TF1913 and I really dont need the brace to fold. I fished the sling through the top end slit, works okay. I went with a ME Ukrainian 2 piece flash hider which comes highly recommended for reducing the flash as much as possible without the use of a suppressor. They wont completly get rid of flash on these short AK's, but theyll reduce it by a lot, on 16 inch AK's they remove all flash, highly effective. They're not overly expensive, 70 bucks from AK guys and they are 14x1L and have plenty of notches to lock in, just probably a better system than what you have going on right now.
Definitely wanna try that qd attachment I've thought of just getting a Ukrainian or Bulgarian flash hider but I like the look of the PWS it's only temporary till I get a suppressor but this setup works for me but thank you for letting me know about that thingy from SB tactical definitely gunna snag one
Handgaurd will fit no problem the dimensions of the mini jack milled and stamped are standard akm size just a shortened gas tube but like any AK some minor fitting might be required
It's not bad mine fits a little loose I know most people say it fits tight but I have a milled receiver so maybe that has something to do with it but it has the option on Kyber Customs website for Stamped or milled maybe they sent me the wrong one but it works just fine for the price
7.62x39 does alright out of a short barrel its not as good as something like 300 blk but much better than 5.56 or 5.45 if you practice you can be making accurate hits out to 200 meters no problem but past that it's more of a struggle atleast for me a 16 inch barrel would be better for 300 meter hits but it's nice to have something compact plus it's just cool as hell I've never shot a zpap but I've shot an m70 hopefully @ExtremelyAverageMan has some insight
