It's really crazy that you just posted this. We were just looking for an electric can opener for our son to use due to having what they consider to be mild cerebral palsy. (He has very limited use with his right hand). He is 16 and learning to cook and this is absolutely perfect and will be a game changer for him. Thank you!!!
I just bought a old type one that sits on my counter that is already full. I have to look into this one. I have Spina Bifida and I was in the hospital for close to a year so my muscles are so weak and having to sit and stand all day is really a chore. Good luck to both your Sons. My son is now watching my 1st Grandson grow up in front of our eyes.
Ok I always love your videos but I especially love how you always come up with really creative ideas to use up everything in the fridge and pantry!!! Amazing! 🤩🤩🤩
I was born in Illinois, my family moved to Ga when I was around 3 in the 80's. We lived in Senoia, Ga. , Griffin, Ga., and now we live close to northern Ga., my dad was born and raised in North Georgia and we always call Pecans " PE Cons", that is how we roll on this side of town!!!
I was born and raised in SC and we say ''pe can'', I live in Georgia now and we also say ''pe can''. We have ten ''pe can'' trees in our yard. We get so many that we can't keep up, lol.
If you like the sweetness of the apple in your chicken salad try adding some dried cranberries. I make mine with chicken, celery, apples, pecans, cranberries, mayo and black pepper. I catered for many years and this was my go to recipe. I dnk how many pounds of chicken that I have cooked for chicken salad over the years. I always bake my bacon at 400 for about 10 to 12 minutes. I then can be doing other things while it cooks. I save my bacon fat to reuse for seasoning things and frying eggs too.
Pee-con. That chicken salad is good to put a scoop of it on top of a salad. I've even put a scoop on top of a salad with a scoop of cottage cheese.. or stuff a tomato with it. Yummy!!!
I'm a new subscriber let me just say I loved watching u cook I have 3 boys an these meals come in handy u and another lady I watch on RU-vid yall are the best
I always try to refer back to videos for a certain meal recipe I've seen but I have a hard time finding them on your channel because it's not posted in the title and the recipes aren't in the description. So I usually don't bother but I would love to try some recipes of yours... Because I Love watching your videos.
I cook bacon the lazy way line a big cookie sheet with aluminum foil, put the bacon on put in the oven when you smell it start keeping an eye on it until desired doneness. Put bacon on plate lined with paper towels, over the trash peel the aluminum foil off the cookie sheet wipe the cookie sheet down .
Hi Kelly! Your channel is so nice! And your content is very well presented! The recipes look delicious!! Pucon is how we say it but you say it the way you want. Love the suggestion on how to make a quick jam! And Oh those babies! So precious! Thanks for sharing! Blessings from Bama!
Cute Kelly! We say pa-KHAN in Texas! Tip- if you’re using a half pack of bacon in a recipe, cut the pack in half with scissors. Stash the still wrapped pack in a container. Easier to cook in the pan or oven, too 😘
Hi Kelly. I'm from the North, so I say "pea-cans" not "Pah-cons," but there really is no right or wrong way, in my humble opinion. I have never thought of prepping caramelized onions and freezing them for quick dinner meals. What a great idea! I have got to try the Alice Springs Chicken. It looked divine! Great video, hon.
Its Honey, Mayo & Mustard & if you want it as a pour-able Salad dressing, add a little vinegar to thin it out. We don't have any measurements. I will try to show it in a upcoming video.
GIRL!!!! Everything looks super super delicious!! I sooo need to make everything in this video. That chicken salad, Alice Springs Chicken, and the spaghetti casserole looks soooo delicious!! You’re making me hungry 🤣💖
I love how the kiddos want to see what mommy is doing and cook with you too. I did that to my grandma and mom so much, I did it till they showed me Hahahaha
I will definitely get one of those can openers. Hate fighting with that. Going to try your recipes too. Looks delicious. Mom use to fix breakfast food for dinner too & my husband thought that was weird. He has adapted to it. Ha! Especially on cold winter nights. Thanks for sharing!
A word about the chicken salad recipe. If you can pop the pecans in a toaster oven or in a 350 degree oven for just a few minutes it up the flavor of them and the crunch a ton! :-)
GIRL Carter's is soooo good! I miss it so much. They also have the BEST coleslaw I've ever had. Great video by the way, I always have trouble coming up with meal ideas!💕
(Pee can) love chicken salad. That’s how I make mine sometimes! Croissants are the best!!! I wish my husband wasn’t so picky! I’ve wanted to try the Alice Springs Chicken!
