It'll look nice when its lowered. problem with 19's is they're much more expensive for a wheel/tire setup. so why not go with an 18 with a nice tire for better grip and ride.
I was thinking the same exact thing. The car is such a fatty it needs bigger wheels. Im sure the lowering will help a lot. His speedometer will be all wrong with those wheels too.
That hatcback life so practical that's why I love my mk4 GTI. 55 inch tvs, 5 burner grills in the box you name it it fits with the seats down. But a set of wheels and tires is pretty impressive.
Just a heads up if you didn’t know already the bronze is anodized and if you use a aggressive soap on them when cleaning it will stain them. They recommend when cleaning to basically just use water. This happen to a good friend of mine with the same wheels.
The 18s look great, I don't know what all these guys are on about. And lowered a couple inches it'll look even better. The wheel size makes it look like a gt series car or even a rally car instead of some backyard wannabe street racer. Good choice in my opinion. Get the coilovers and let the haters see what's up. Also, the sound effect when you and Sean did the Predator bro shake was hilarious.
I fit 16 wheels and tires in my Type R, living that Hatch life! Tire spec is a tad small, should have went with 255 40 or 255 45 18, though if you're lowering 255 35s might be prudent. LOVE the wheel color btw, looks great against the black of the car.
What camera do you use? What would you recommend as a starter camera? I have an Olympus sp-570 uz, but I just want an opinion from someone who’s been in the photography/filming scene.

I think they look good. A lot of people are saying that 19” would have been better, but he still has to drop it. Not to mention if he decides to do a wide body in the future
is it just me? but you went down in overall diameter? changing your speedometer and mileage? should have gone 19s for a 35 series tire, or a 45 series tire for 18s to keep the overall diameter the same.

I think I liked the stock wheels better, but I will see if it looks better lowered (which I am also skeptical about). Hopefully it all comes together though.
Dont throw the wheel cover thingy that covers the wheel.. the black one yes.. you can cover your steering wheel with it so when it becomes too hot outside the cover thing can protect your steerig wheel from the heat comin from the windshield
Gonna look super sick when you lower it. Only other thing I would change is those nasty triple pipes in the back to a clean dual or an aventador style big single exhaust tip. 18's was a great choice.
