It took my husband 6 mo and a certified copy of his birth certificate from the State Dept (born in Germany to active military parents) to file for SS, after being a state LEO for 32 yrs. I just signed up OVER THE PHONE in about 10 minutes...no proof of anything (although I am eligible and paid in for 40 yrs.) I was astounded! I wanted to come into an office to file, but they are all STILL WORKING FROM HOME!

I'm 84 years old. My first year of teaching at a Community College in New York State was an Eye opener for me. The head of the Bio department called us all in on a Saturday to order what we would need for our department in the next year. We were allotted to spend a total of $25,000. After several hours we finished our lists and turned them in to our department head, He told us that we had not ordered enough equipment to total our allotted $25,000 and that we would have to order more equipment until we had spent our total of $25,000. I spoke up (totally naive dork that I was} that we would be thought of as good citizens who cared about the Tax Payers money by spending only what we needed for our classes. ( HaHa! ) We were ordered to spend the rest of our allotted budget before we could go home. We did as ordered. Our leader explained that if we spent less than our allotted $25,000, next year our budget would be cut. {This is a true story. The names have been changed to protect the dopes}

Social Security was a con the government made up to take your SS money and spend it as well as well much more debt spending on other things like foreign wars and non sense rather than putting it into savings for you. The money you get in SS now comes from spending because the government has spent so much that the only way they can finance everything from our military to your social security check is by debt spending. We need the biggest military now because then our dollar can be worth whatever we say/demand it is by force of our military and it's ability to kill all debt collectors and enforce our currency value. That is what America has become, we don't pay our debts or put into untouched savings the money of our citizen. Your money was spent away long ago, so the money spent on non citizens effects you mainly only because it is debt spending too like regular SS is and so effects inflation.

He openly was scathing of our interest in Tradition, which didn’t help his cause, as I would always want to know more. I found it through a small classified Ad that my Brother in law found. He introduced us and I re-found the Traditional Latin Mass of My first Holy communion in 1981.
