New! Whole House Christmas Decorating! Christmas House Transformation Clean & Decorate With Me 2023! 

I always have a gingerbread, candy, baking Santa's & Mrs. Claus theme in my kitchen. I decorated for Christmas 3 wks ago. I had my 13 yr old granddaughter here and she helped a lot which was a plus for me as I injured my knee in May and will having knee surgery Nov.22 I have been enjoying my décor. Love the tree & staircase. Great job!

Absolutely beautiful. I have 12 kids...adults now. We have a name tree. My husband and I and our 12 kids and daughter in laws and son in laws and grandkids and pets..I love it. The 2nd tree has our ornaments throughout the yrs. I love the memories.

Your trees are beautiful! I decorate our tree with ornaments we have collected over the last 39 yrs. Handmade, gifted and places we have been. I used to put the ornaments that my kids made too but they are all adults now and we honestly have too many ornaments to put on the tree. I do put out some smaller trees but normally just add fairy lights to them. I guess you could say it is traditional with a bit of vintage and new. I have been decorating my kitchen with the gingerbread theme off and on for years. I say if you like it do it.

I do the same decor about every year, except this year I have a new fireplace with a mantle I will be putting garland and some new stockings. My daughter just married so will have to add another stocking 😊I still use the stockings from when the kids were little. It’s time to upgrade those😀

I think everything turned out BEAUTIFUL I love watching and getting ideas from Christmas decorating videos my tree lights are white but because I like A little color and motion on my tree I bought the multi color motion lights for them it's so pretty but not to busy or annoying !!!!!

Still love your idea of putting out the kids photos. Each holiday that my family gathers I try to get a group photo and then frame it with the year date. Each holiday I can put out the photos from the last few years. Had a friend who would do a single scrapbook page with photos for each holiday each year. Then when the extended family came over they could all look through the “Christmas book” on the coffee table, or the “Easter book” etc. it was a fun way to keep up with her hobby and her kids growth, but not be too demanding on her time.

Your kids Christmas pictures the second picture of your son he looks just like Malcolm. I don't decorate in a thyme, i just like a lot of different deco. but i do buy red glass Christmas trees that i like when i see them. I also like too decorate with plaid.

I have never done ribbons on my trees because if I’m honest I always feel a wee bit intimidated that they don’t turn out right however, seeing how you did them today ( wrapping them around your hand then just hanging them rather than having them intertwined in the tree) I actually think I could do that, thank you

Christmas is going to be so fun with Malcolm this year!! I love watching you decorate, makes me excited to get mine done. As far as themes, my kitchen has been gingerbread and candy canes for years. Our downstairs tree is hunting and fishing themed. We'll see which decor I decide to use this year upstairs. I'm trying to not buy anything new. I have no theme and i do not use ribbon i keep it simple but yet looks very festive!! Very pretty! The glitter drives me crazy! I've had a piece of red glitter embedded in my coffee table for years and I cannot get it out, every so often the sun will catch it and I get frustrated.

The china cabinet is perfect with the Christmas kitchen theme. Love the trees along the big windows and the Santa pics. I theme by color and not decor based on the decor I have. My living room this year will be black and red checkered look while my entryway is blue ( I posted that video yesterday on my channel) then every other room in my house is red and green except my daughter room which I do in pink

The house already looks so festive! I’ve never decorated for Christmas before Thanksgiving, and then because my youngest child was born on December 11th, I stopped decorating for Christmas until after his birthday, now he has a child born in December and they don’t give a flip about waiting to decorate, often decorating way before Thanksgiving. When I was a child, the small town I lived in didn’t seem to do any decorating or even have Christmas items for sale until the day after Thanksgiving, of course that has all changed, and we move on to the next holiday before the current one is over, but we were so excited to go downtown to see what holiday decorations the city (town, really) has adorned the street lights with. Back then decorations were pretty simple, nothing over board, and most people put up one real tree and maybe a few lights outdoors. You really outdo yourself every year Jesse, every year your decorations are prettier than the year before be just because of the few added pieces. I bet Malcolm is soooooo excited! 🎄🎄

I love gingerbread houses and have collected them for the last five years or so. (Mostly Kurt Adler houses, but I also like Raz imports and December Diamonds brands.) That’s my collection I put out in the shelves in the living room instead of a tiny house Christmas village. Every year I move them around. Last year they were in the dining room on the sideboard. I do a slim gingerbread themed tree in the entryway, and red and white with silver mercury glass in the living room. The kids Rec room has grinch theme and our family ornaments that they’ve picked out or made over the years. I’ve got so much junk! Just cleaned out my attic and got rid of dozens of boxes of decor items. I’m trying to make things a little more manageable for myself this year. Really just saved sentimental items, greenery, a couple trees, and some nicer ornaments. Went down about twenty bins at least! (It was totally insane, but we’ve got a larger home.) it looked like Christmas exploded in my home the last few years. -maximalist decorating, and NOT in a good way. 😂 Last year I was so exhausted trying to put it all away, I vowed to scale back considerably. It’s kinda funny to me how gingerbread, and grinch is huge now, when I’ve been decorating that way for years. Guess I’m one of the “OG”. 😊
