I’m 100% here for the card making content. When I first saw the flat lay of the cards, I thought they were sketches. The monochromatic color scheme is stunning, and it really allows the graphic design to shine. I feel like my new standard for a good looking card is going to be that if it doesn’t look good in monochrome, then I need to rethink the design.
I LOVE the addition of card making to your channel. I used to scrapbook a lot more, but now my son is grown (25!) and there just isn't much to scrap. Don't get me wrong, I have not scrapped everything from past years. It just isn't as exciting as it used to be. I find myself making cards a lot more now. It is faster and easier for this old mom who finds herself missing her little boy when I scrap past years.
See, this is why I followed you; your creativity is amazing. The idea of a grayscale Valentine’s Day card would 100% never have occurred to me. These are so pretty with a very contemporary twist. I’m looking forward to your next cards!
Yeah, see I’ve been waiting for your cards every since you made the last card video…. You said you were gonna make more but I figured you had changed your mind….. however god is good because he knows my heart needs your inspiration girl….. I’m So excited ❤
Oh Victoria this cards are just stunning!!! You come up with the most clever ideas…LOVE the grayscale hearts!!! I also love that you are incorporating card videos in your channel, I have so much of the supplies, it will be awesome to get inspiration from the best teacher out there. Love you friend!!
I'm new to your channel. 💟 I've been scrapbooking for lots of years and would like to start making cards this year. So this is super news!! I'm excited!
Love stitching dies. They had so much to the element. I do like this video and I look forward to seeing more but I have an affinity for the Scrapbooking ones lol I’ll have to take you up on that making a card with my supplies😊
Beautiful cards! I’m glad you are sharing your cards, I make a lot of cards with my leftover bits from scrapbook layouts so I always appreciate the inspiration.
I’m actually a newbie cardmaker who started watching your scrapbooking content. Certain things are universal for any style of Paper Crafting, or Crafting in general! That greyscale card is amazing and I can’t wait to see more of your specifically card-y ideas 💚🖤💚
@@VictoriaMarieScraps it’s been my pleasure! I’m trying to start a RU-vid channel and I’m a little scared, and seeing your video and how you do things differently from other crafters, takes a lot of the anxiety away for me, I appreciate that!
@@Stacymc2012 You can absolutely do this! Just start - don't overthink it. There are tons of great tutorials for beginners and plenty of room for new channels. Jump right on in!
OMG I just LOVE these cards, love the colors so beautiful. I also love your space so nice and organized, love it. And just an aside, I loved the January mid month content you created for Ali Edwards One Little Word, thank you for that, I felt so calm and good after :) And I now subscribed to your channel :)
So happy your now including card marking! I started card making last August, because I had all the stuff. I’ve become a little obsessed 😂 So much to learn and loving it. Going to give this a try ❤
LOVE the cards you made Victoria! Looks like I’m going to have to branch out to Elle’s Studio, Tonic and the Cardstock Shop. Nice to learn of other vendors to get product from. I just got my very first order from The Hip Kit Club yesterday! Never heard of them till you and they have GREAT embellishments! I got the Christmas themed Main and Embellishment kits from I believe November? I so loved the layout that you did fairly recently and was so tickled that it was still available. Can’t wait to play with it! Thanks for sharing those beautiful cards. I want that heart die set, but likely isn’t available. I’ll look though. 😆
I don’t have the subscription yet cuz I only get paid on the 3rd of the month with my SSI disability. Hope to get back to work but can only work 6 days/month on SSID with the hourly pay doing agency home care as a nurse. Anyway, waiting for the 3rd then will start the subscription! Can’t wait! They have the absolute cutest embellishments. It’s so awesome to me how you mix and match companies to make a great layout. Can’t wait till your class starts on Feb. 1! I got a couple notebooks at Dollar Tree Monday night to use for your class. One for you and one for another project. Not exactly what I wanted but what I could afford. I have a really nice 6-binder set from Amazon that cost around $50. They are soft and have a clear window so you can put a decorative sheet of paper. Love them! I’ll get another set one day and one will be set aside for your classes. 👏👏👏 I just remembered, I sent an email about my Patreon subscription for the Premium level, but haven’t been able to join. I think I paid on Jan 4. Looks like it went through and should show the LMCU for $15. Shows it cleared on my end. Thank you for introducing me to the Hip Kit Club and the cut file site too! Going to get some things from them next payday! ❤️❤️❤️
I love both cards and think they are very pretty, but my brain keeps telling my mind that the screen I’m watching this video on is broken and the color is not working anymore! L O L, my brain is confused. Just as an aside, I started card making in the late 1980s and when I started scrapbooking in the late 1990s, I noticed that I could use my rubber art stamps on my scrapbook pages. This was in the days before there were die cutting machines! We cut our own designs using photocopiers and chipboard packaging, from cereal or saltine boxes! For about four years, I taught a class at a stamping and scrapbooking store. My class was titled “anything you can do on a card, you can do on a scrapbook page”. Keep on turning out the great content, Victoria!
Hello, I really enjoy your videos. You give practical tips to help crafters get the most from their supplies. Can you tell me the name of the trays you use in your videos to organize your small pieces? Thank you
