The non-evaluation ISO should still work after 90 days of usage, there's a repository on GitHub that is completely open source and does the work of activating Windows.

theres a method to stop the computer from restarting every hour from no activation, search google for it, i think its a well knows trick within the admin tech community.

Just re add the ms store and you can update all those apps and install the new calculator. Run this command in cmd as admin: WSReset -i&&TimeOut 20&&WSReset -i&&exit

All those apps you listed - like Notepad, Paint, Snipping Tool, and Calculator etc - can be replaced with superior (often open source/free) versions, so that you can have the features you had with Win11 Pro.

The classic versions are superior.

After 90 days, the evaluation key expires. The background will go black, and Windows will shut down after an hour of use. You can rearm the key to extend the trial or reinstall the eval copy, but that's it. Windows Security is also missing from the eval copies. It doesn't allow you to directly upgrade to the full version either; a clean installation is required.

@@Swiftness0427you don’t need a subscription. The rtm image has 3 versions. Enterprise LTSC. IOT and subscription variant. If you select iot or enterprise ltsc, you don’t have the subscription requirement. I think the subscription will be needed for ESU updates tho.

Yes. WSL just needs to be enabled from "Windows Features", Defender always comes preinstalled and so does Powershell.

@@TheNeku123 I found a Reddit post which shows they can't open Windows Defender settings in the UI. I guess you might be right. Though, if you want to make the test you can install VMware Player (this is free unlike VMware Workstation) to create a virtual machine and install Windows 11 LTSC on it from the ISO. This way you can check what it has and what it lacks without replacing your current OS. Though, it might take 40 GB of space. And don't use VirtualBox. This one works very slow on Windows.

No, IoT Enterprise LTSC 2024 requires its own license. Evaluation copies are stuck with the 90 day key anyway. You would need the full version.
