Hello. I had to come back and thank you. Removing the insoles made a world of difference. The boots are now very comfortable . After a bit of time , I'll try the insoles back in the boots. Ben
Hi Ben, thanks for the feedback! Great to hear that it worked well for you. Let me know how it goes with putting the insoles back in after a few weeks. Kind regards,
I just brought new walking boots and they are so uncomfortable across the toes! I took out the in soles and it made a massive difference. Spot on useful advice thank you 👍
I saved a pair of new boots for a couple months, meanwhile, one of my bunions grew up quite a bit. I tried your advises and my bunion is happy again!!! Thank you very much and God bless you!!!
Definitely not! If you are Australian or wear a lot of Flip Flops wide feet are pretty common. Just not many people know about taking the inner sole out!
I have new work boots that were gifted to me. They would be ok for a sec, but after a day of wearing my feet were killing me! I wanna thank you with all my heart for this idea! My feet thank you too!
Hi T. Kara not a problem :). The main thing to do is just wear them around the house for a few hours (before they get dirty). This will make a massive difference.
@@TKara-bi6in T. Kara I suggest watch a 13 part series called _What on earth happened_ by Ewaranon to learn that the earth is not a globe. I got it in my about tab.
Hey Aldair, maybe going for a run might be a bit to much! You could try just walking around the house for a day or two in them, obviously only if they are clean! ;)
Oh wow they fit perfect now!! lol I took the sole out after fixing the laces. Quick question. Would it be worth putting the insole back in and breaking them in as I can? Or using a boot stretcher? Especially seeing as they fit pretty good in the mid foot area without the insole
If they fit well without the soles, you can wear them for a week or so and then put the soles back in and see if they have stretch to a point they are comfortable. We haven't had much to do with Boot Stretchers but theoretically they can help.
Youre gonna have osteorticular problem if you dont have arch support for your foot whit a personalized ortesic insole, is gonna create pronation and falling of the arch plantar whic i have and belive me is very difficult to treat after you get it even whit the best orthesic, not recommned at all to put your foot in contact whit the antiperforation insert that is placed upon the sole. If your boot are too small try a bigger pair number or get another tipe that is buit to install orthesic, there is one that is coming out this month in my country, i tried only a prototipe but it kinda look promising or at least going in the right direction.
Hey Kiet, sorry to hear it! You could try to do the opposite to the video and purchase very thick inner soles to help take some of the room out of the boots.
Hey GuardianOfTheDamned, not many people do! We have gotten so use to having the inner soles that we forget it wasn't that long ago that shoes didn't even come with them. That being said it is always better to keep them in if you can but if it is the difference between being able to wear your shoes and not... then taking them out is the best option by far.
My left boots works like a charm, my right foot keeps slipping to the right, as my calf’s start straining like a mother! Do I need more padding? Cause’ I tied them very good, but my ankle and calves hurt! Please help!
Hey Cole, that is always annoying when one shoe fits and one shoe doesn't! You could try to replace the innersole in the right shoe to be a bit thicker/more padded? You just wouldn't want to make the difference so big that it affects your walk! You should also make sure that your laces on both the right foot and the left foot are done up the same... sometimes the pattern of the laces can make a difference. If the laces are the same then when you put the right shoe on don't just pull on the laces at the top... tighten in strap separately to make sure they are tight the whole way down the shoe. (if that makes sense). Hopefully some of this well help?
Hi Cesar, the easiest thing to do if you have narrow feet is to make sure you tighten the laces up really tightly all the way from the bottom. When you put them on don't just pull the strings, start at the bottom and make sure each wrap of the lace is tight. Other than that, you can get inner soles that are made for people with narrow feet. Getting blisters from inner soles might just mean you haven't gotten a pair that fit your specific feet correctly. Hope some of this helps!
My grandad said he used to boil his new issue British Army Boots back in the 1950's it was either that or get chewed up feet and be in medical next day with blisters.
Hey, i recently got a pair of high work boots, they fit well and while they're heavy i'm getting used to it, they're causing blisters on the back of my feet though, could it be because i haven't broken them in just yet? Should i wait for the blisters to heal before trying to wear them?
Hey RiotGrrl, If your shoes are giving you blisters you should definitely wait until they heal to wear them again or you might cause more damage. Once they heal try just wearing the shoes around the house for an hour or two at a time just to break them in before wearing them for a full day. The other problem might be the socks you are wearing... getting a good quality pair of thick work boot socks would help.
I was a combat medic in light infantry in the American army. We move almost everywhere on foot. Some things I did for my guys are running a piece of suture, pretty sure you could use a needle and thread, through the space between the blister and heel underneath. Run the thread as low as possible on the blister. You won’t open the blister and the thread is a drain. Cover that with no stick gauze and moleskin to keep the friction away. Pantyhose socks can also help with friction. Good luck with your feet.
@@yamatodamashii1179 Thanks a lot, i've heard of the soldiers that wear pantyhose for those exact reasons among many others, guess i'll have to try it then! Thanks for your service.

If they are very painful you might have to get a different pair. But if they are just a bit uncomfortable you can wear them in carefully by just putting them on for an hour or two a day while in your house. This way they can stretch naturally without putting strain on your foot.
I have narrow feet and I've worn Converse my whole life But now I need to use steel toe work boots and the toe cap is always so darn narrow even for my feet that it prevents my toes from splaying when I step. The tip has no flex it's insanely uncomfortable. I tried going wider boots and those are too wide my foot is just knocking around in there. Any idea what I could do? Regular is too narrow and wide is too wide
With a steel tip boot you are better off going wide than narrow. To help with the wider boots you could looks at getting a custom inner sole or even just a thick one off the shelf or some bigger work socks. However, you would be best off shopping around as many brands as possible to find one that fits naturally.
@@goldersromatoowoomba372 Thanks a million. I just ordered a E and EE and wool socks. I'm going to try them both out for a week and keep the ones that fit best
I know all the comments are bots saying the same thing but I actually removed my soles from my boots and for some weird god damn reason they feel way much better. I wear Danner MEB boots. But when I wore my summer boots they fine with the soles in. Weird idk.
Hi, the best way to make shoes that are to big fit better is to use a innersole. If you can find one that is thick enough it will take a lot of room out of the shoe.
Hi Jacob, sorry for the delay in replying I didn't see your response come through! If they are tight then make sure you try taking out the inner sole, this will give you more room. I know you might have already tried this but go out and buy the thinnest socks you can find. Have you worn the boots for a long time already or are they still pretty new?
Hi, this is a bit of a tricky one... any shoes shouldn't hurt your feet but that being said if you get a fresh pair of boots and wear them for a whole day of work then you can expect a bit of uncomfort. Is it rubbing pain or is it from your toes touching the end of the shoe?
Ah I don't really have personal experience with them but you could try and find an inner sole that is a bit thinner than the ones that came standard with the boots?
Hahaha this guy..." Take out that comfy cushion thing just like this. Now in a month or two you won't need them because now you're crippled and can collect unemployment" lmao nooo buddy lol thought you had real tricks. Anyway. Ty.
@@goldersromatoowoomba372 Yeah I know I’m one of those people I hate work boats I’ve tried everything even the things that you had suggested in this video and it’s still painful to wear them
