Hey Guys! I have recently been getting a lot of questions about how to make gold to level trade skills, or buy gear, I had thought that there where enough video’s about this, but after looking into it I found many are way out of date and a lot of the idea’s no longer work to make much coin in todays market. So here are the actual methods I use regularly to generate my coin I use to make video’s, level my trade skills, and roll gear😊 Enjoy
People always ask me how I never run out of coin and I explain exactly what you just did. I make my money from farming all of the little stuff that most level 60s don't want to bother with. Low level routes produce thousands of coins in short periods of time, especially with Camelot prices! Another great video! I shall continue to share your videos with everybody I can!
Thanks for this. I am a new player and just hit LVL 60. I barely broke 10k gold during my levelling and looking for a way to make cash. What I love about this game is that there are plenty of areas where you can farm lots of different things at the same time.
*Clear Table of Contents* 0:00 - 1:00 *Avoid competing with boots. 1:00 - 2:45 *Hyssop, Tarragon (Herbs) for reliable and consistent money 2:45 - 4:00 *Perk items mainly from tier 1 and tier 2 crates (Iron Guardsman's and Iron Battle Medal>>) 4:00 - 9:17 *Tanning (requires a bit of math, a little game knowledge and a few level reqs, but isn't too hard once you get the hang of it) 9:17 - End * Making dyes (slow but reliable) (Some in game items/miscs may be required for max efficiency) Just got back into New World today, and gold seems so much more important now, than back when the game first launched. This video helped a lot! :) Happy grindin' gamers!
There's a short run north of valor hold in edengrove where I loot provision crates for cauliflower and onion while also gathering some wyrdwood and platinum.
I've tried putting sell orders for the stuff i gather and found it's just not worth it because I always get underbid on my high pop server almost instantly. So now I always just fill buy orders since the margins are always very little and its instant gold. It's nice to see you filling buy orders and not bothering with sell orders.
Great video! I farm hyssop and leather on a smaller scale - this was an impressive turn over! I also really enjoy fishing, which can be quite lucrative. Lastly, basic mats like stone and green wood always in demand - I check prices before I go farm for a short while then sell to buy orders for some quick cash
AGS should pay you for the consistently awesome content you put out. When I start feeling a little bleh with the game, I watch one of your vids and get inspired to try something new that you're sharing with us. Thanks for all the content!
Thanks for sharing your tips ! I love your vids, always helpful ! I also love your calm way of saying things ! Keep up the good work ! I also found that green wood is a nice source of income on my server. Most people are too lazy or too pvp oriented to farm low end mats.
hey spot on video mate, literally all my favorite guaranteed income spots. Ive been using buy orders to purchase pigments for 1 coin each and making dyes that sell for 50+ since the beginning of the game, its such a great passive income if you just remember where all the dyes are and pick them up when you're doing other stuff. Other than the spots you mentioned I will pick up iron, motes, hyssop, elemental stones, and close portals while im running between EF and WW, not particularly high gold but its about as easy as a farm can get. If I'm really trying to make as much money as I can ill bring a friend to West Illurmin and basically bully people off the Orichalcum until we run the whole valley but after Orichalcum and Starmetal get buffed spawns it wont be as lucrative.
I make gold hand over fist without doing any farming. The trick is to analyze the market to find crafted items with a high profit margin when considering the cost of the materials. Once you get going, you will be making gold 24 hours a day. I check back each day to refresh inventory (paid for by profits generated from sale of crafted items). I cannot remember the last time farmed anything. Well, except for maybe farming items for the daily diamond gypsum.
On my server, assuming you purchase tannin and iron hide, and farm the thick hide, the time you spent farming the thick hide will sell for as much net profit as this strategy. because infused leather is cheaper than shown in the video, and iron hide and tannin and rawhide are more expensive. I still tried it a few times and enjoyed seeing my leatherworking aptitude skyrocket though. I could not stand to farm the thick hide. I tried multiple different places and it was daunting every time for me.
Great video! Thanks for putting this up and all the effort these take. Could I ask you to update this after the May update? The changes to hide availability may change the calculus. Time to switch to fiber?
Ohhhhhh. This is nice! Edit: i do charcoal and recently i do server chest runs 3x a day then sell everything. Salvage to make repair items then sell them also
I have been using the cost offset for a while now. I can run an ori route and hope that the node is there or go down to southern cutlass and farm rawhide, hemp, silkweed, wire fiber, iron ore, ironwood , and wyrdwood for 30 min and make 2k and just buy ori ingots for my daily asmo.
This is nowhere near on the scale you're at, but for super casual players or people who are between 50-60, joining an Invasion is a guaranteed roughly 500-700 gold depending how it goes. Sometimes you drop in and everyone dies quickly, but you still get like 500 gold. That's decent for 10 mins of your time. Especially when you're just getting started.
The one thing that really gets me is that if you are not part of the core of a guild you will never earn enough money. This is really nice. Thanks for the tips.
Well in order to make these video's in a way that they would be relevant for everyone, I have never belonged to a company since the day I started playing, I wanted the things I do to be something anyone can do.
Crazy how your still here making videos for this game man. I recently came back to it, I don’t know the values of items and that anymore since it’s been 3 months since I logged in but I used to just run reek chests for trophy’s. Found my luck sweet spot and would get a drop like atleast every 2 runs
Been experimenting watching mutation rotate and pumping out PVP gems and mutation gems at the beginning of the week and I make decent coin with all the bonuses I have with my stone cutting set
10:28 Not really a "secret", "amazing" or "consistent" method, but by far one of the most enjoyable and one of the least stressfull ways, is simply solo farming for Rare/Fancy gear & selling it for a good buck. ie. Smelters gear, Chefs Shirt, Artisan Jewelcrafters Hood, Woodworkers gloves/boots, BoE Weapons with Luck, Weaponsmith Pants, all the good stuff, etc. Each of the usually go on the market for around 20k+, take 1/40 kills to drop, and always sell in 7 days (if you spam the Trade Chat with a duplicate). :D I also have another second, REALLY consistent method related to those same gear drops... but THATs a trade secret. ;)
I do alot of my money making on some nice ori routes. Even on the highest pop server on east and I can still get anywhere from 800-1200 ori per hour. Jump between ori and platinum then I buy my silver and gold pretty cheap to make my ingots. I'm pretty lazy though and most days I only farm for like an hour or 2.
Wow. I mean wow! This truly is a full-time job for you. Its great you get to "OCD", for a lack of better term, all the math involved in the background of this game. I do have a little issue. You said "passive income of 20k" but in fact its not passive at all. If it takes you 2 days to farm the thick hide. I know, I know, you said you are hitting the hyssop and other nodes along the way, but DAMN! Thats a lot of farming. My hat goes off to you for being able to stick with it. P.s. please forgive my scatter-brain comments. I just got off 3rd shift and I'm ready for bed
If you have time, and a bit of coin, you could just play the buy order game of set low buy orders and hope they fulfill whilst you are not playing a couple days later (markets are quite volatile) then sell when you logg on. I'd do this with cut gems mainly or drop of iron wood sap, depends on how much money you got .
@@ileflottantebeats I have neither. Time i have that I can play is about 10 hours a week. Money is about 37k That being said, I have started putting up buy orders.
How do you store all of the hides that you are buying/gathering? Just taking a look at the 50k Rawhide, at 0.2 weight per, thats 10000 weight just right there. Not including the Thick Hide, Iron Hide, and Aged Tannin weight.
in various locations, it is alot easier now , for the rawhide which i buy, that stacks above weight from the buyorders, but the rest I move around now that we have access to all territory storage its much easier
235 for insignia ? damn on what server are you playing :D i have high pop server and its like only 40 and this is the best i remember days when this was 0.10 garbage mostly its for 15 now good video btw nice and easy methods good explanation thats how we like this
Soul mote, death mote the price over 2.30 in my server so I gather it and sell it , in 20-25 min around 1000 mote (400 death,300 soul , and others like water earth…)
The prices of the goods are quite different on my server, aged tannin for example is about 0.5 at the moment and has been for some time now. I'd hope to see that increase reflected in the end price of Inf.leather though. I'll need to look into into carefully. I am on one of the higher populated EU servers too.
on my server rawhide is 0.4, with ur numbers total cost of all raw material is almost 40k, total infused leather cost 36k, seems like waste of time with price of rawhide
@@sgmediaclub7021 Lodestone is around 1.50 for buy orders, 1.8 for sell orders. The element lode stones I get putrid and another I forget which one but for about 1-1.4g each, Sand paper was just over 1g but dips to below that at times.
Okay so I have some issue with the numbers for the leather working. On Maramma and presumably other servers of med-high pop, thick hide is 0.65-75 This means that really, the advice here is, farm items and sell them. That's totally fair but it's really mispresented here. You say that it's 16k in and 18k out in profit, but that's only if you don't factor in the value of thick hide and iron hide... Which you should because those are items you now possess and could sell. By even low estimates, you could sell 24000 Thick hide x 0.65 =15600 and iron hide at 0.10x24000 = 2400 gold. So there's the 18k in profit you are talking about. It's 18k in resources you went and farmed.
gotta say you're lucky thick hide is so cheap on your server. it's going for almost 10g on Ygg currently. iron hide is at .75. thought I totally get what you're saying he should've subtracted his investment from his profit. either way, hyssop is a good seller lol
im almost never farm any mats and i can make 1.090k gold from refining, for me smelting is the most profit, but u need huge gold to start, usualy i refine 5k Ori Ingot, 5k Inf Leather, 5k Inf Silk per day, if you doing rifine work, Bots is your friend
Could you please tell us your bow build that you used while farming the thick hide? I saw that you were able to one-shot most of the bisons with a clear headshot and would like to know your gear and build. Thanks
Go to the trading post. Set your filter for minimum GS of 580-590, single attribute only (dex), and buy the cheapest set of armor with dex stat. You're not worried about perks so it can be green armor. I bought a full set for like 1k gold. If you have a skinner set that would be even better. Then buy you a dex bow with keen/viscious. Set all your attribute points into dex. Penetrating shot after a dodge roll will one shot all of that. I get 7k+ dmg shots and just mow through my leather farms. On top of that you get the haste bonus after dodge rolling. Put you an onyx gem in the bow for the damage bonus on full hp targets as well.
@@slightly_tilted Thank you so much for the tips! Also, what amount of Dex would I need if I say put all points into just Dex? I don't have any bow expertise so not sure how many points I can spare just from the gear and how much I can get from the attributes. Also does this work for 1-2 shotting those nasty alligators with a shield-skin lol? Also what skills on the bow, like rapid shot, poison shot something like that is required? So many questions sorry, but thanks in advance
@@mohanhegde Hm, I'm not sure. You can buy a higher gs bow, and as you unlock higher expertise the level of your bow will match whatever you have unlocked so far. So start using some gypsum to raise your bow expertise. Just put all your attribute points into dex. I run penetrating shot, rapid shot, and evade shot. I'd have to look at exactly what I have selected, but I pick everything to max my damage out. I don't one shot the alligators, but If you follow up with rapid shot, it will die. Just start using hte bow and you'll start levelling it up. You don't need alot of defense if you're just using it for open world killing boars/gators/buffalo, etc. Especially with dodge roll and ranged attacks.
Did you see my aptitude level for tanning >? You get tons in crates, and after opening hundreds and hundreds of aptitude crates you find your self with ass loads
300 constitution tree chopping for charcoal is a pretty turn off your brain way to farm gold. I can make like at least 10k charcoal an hour with a proficiency potion (I use the one that lasts 30 minutes cuz it sells for like 25 gold on my server). Def not the quickest gold farming but it makes me like 3.4k an hour when I really need gold. Always list the charcoal for around 0.37 each and for 7 days. Sometimes it takes a few days to sell but usually only 1 day.
@@5HeadSurvivalGaming yeah I’m doing up some numbers now to see where the best line of profit in the whole thing is. I’m still gonna try it but might not go all the way to infused if it isn’t worth the profit. Still appreciate the video for sure.
@@spiritwyrmk8622 big tip is to lock whatever you think is good before mass salvaging. gators drop the tanners set pretty consistently too. I usually get a piece or two every run.
Check my guide, not even fishing for views, but I leveled completely too 200 not using 1 orichalcum ingot infact I generated hundreds wich I sold that paid for it simply by doing it
