As someone new to the genre, I'm not sure what DPS and Tank checks are, or what to make of the comparison to LoL for outpost rush. I'm interested in outpost rush but really have no clue how it works.
I’d love to hear a deeper dive on your thoughts on end game gear.. I think voidbent was my end goal. I’m assuming getting the ideal perk roles/stats on crafted gear?
you and Demone are by far the 2 best new world youtubers, so far above the rest. idk what it is, just the straight facts with no B.S. acting to get kids to subscribe, and the knowledge is always on point and accurate, and cutting edge. keep it up seth
@@vb6548 Yeah Xaryu is good shit. I remember watching his mage videos for wow back in the day. Worth checking out Bajheera too, another ex wow guy with some good pvp coverage.
Would love to see some 3v3 and 2v2 arenas in this game. Few of my company mates and I were running group duels tonight outside EF and it was a blast. Having an actual encounter space for it with boundaries and terrain is much needed though.
Thanks for the tip on the arenas. I was about to blow my arena key today but now I’m going to hold off until I get these damage boosts! Best new world content right here
We cleared Genesis at 518GS and Laz at 530GS. As long as you communicate, you'll be fine. 1 shot each dungeon. Mono cleft, we just threw in a T3 fire gem in our weapons and each used T3 angry earth coating. Have cleared it 10 times now. None of my party have a house.
I agree, they can be cleared without all the stuff mentioned in the video and it's even more fun cause it's more challenging when it requires skill over buffs.
So if I'm using a Spear/Bow and I use a fire gem in my weapons. Do I need to put all points into Int to improve the fire dmg or just keep all my points in Dex still?
Theres not much point in doing Genesis or Laz until u get your watermark up to where u can get 600 drops since u will just get the purple versions of what would have been a 600 firestaff for example. You'd be better off just farming Reekwater or Myrk. Although, I would still do Gen and Laz as long as u arent using your own keys since they are kinda fun. Im just not using my keys until I can get 600s, which I can on some of the armors but none of the weapons that would drop from those dungeons. Havent finished the vid so he might have already mentioned that.
It would be great a video about trophies and what to get in general. At this point I still don't know anything about them. I just know they exist and they're good xd
NGL I really wish you come back to cover new world a bit when the expansion comes out. There will be a lot of new stuff in the new First Light, stuff on Brimstone you havent done, new expeditions, mounts, pvp influence changes, so much stuff has changed since you quit.
Good vid, as always. Just FYI, my buddy picked up a 600 gear score (GS) long sword yesterday in Reekwater. I was surprised because I was under the impression that you could only get 600 GS with master crafted items. It was bind on pickup and my buddy is a non-paladin healer, so he had no real need for the sword. Oh, how I wanted it to fulfill my tanking duties... but no dice. Lol, that same mini boss dropped me green cloth pants.
Great video mate, so many people get stuck at 60 to know what to do due to the extreme lack of storyline in this game. I know so many mates that have hit 60 now just half ass the game because they dont know what to do.
I am courently lvl 42 but i always stopped questing when i saw that my crafted items were to low for my level. Got everything (besides fishing xD ) over 120 right now and i can easly say i got only from crafting 25 + level. I done at most 15-20 Quest since i started playing. Its worth doing it already while leveling or you waste all the good EXP into nothing.
I did finish siren arena and spriggan arena first try with my buddies, none of us had more than 520gs, no coatings or trophies. As a tank i spammed the rend debuff and we killed them. If nobody dies and losing time on revives, i don't think it's that hard
Dinged 60 with buddies, did all content same day. No need to farm anything since it can be completed immedietly, needs minor communication since alot is copypaste. Ive got my money worth and enjoy wars :)
After 160 hours spend on the game, i really enjoyed getting to 60... But now that I'm here, it really has nothing too investing to do. I'm still playing because I have nothing else to do, but it's really not that fun
@Sethphir just want to point out that engineering makes 0 money. I have 200 engineering there is no reason to go pass level 170 engineering honest to God wish I didn't waste as much time as I did leveling it now I have armorsmithing at 170 and aiming for 200 hoping that has more luck.
I used to sell startone tools crafted with azoth that went for 200-300 each, until devs buffed the drop rate of flux. Now it goes for 100. I'm now going for infused health potions which has a very high profit margin on my server. Crating ingredients are readily available a d can be easly farmed compared to major health potions.
Maybe it's just my server gearscore 440-460 orichalcum tools go for like 400 gold. Not even worth the ingots. I have full engineering set and food for the plus 25 gearscore. And I said my engineering is 200. I craft around 450ish gearscore tools
@@Gerugon not only did I say I'm 200 engineering, but your actually wrong because orichalcum tools are classed as tier 4. There for there is Nota single benefit past 170 towards making tools. But tier 5 equipment does benefit up too tier 200.
What parts of this video is still accurate? I know some stuff is different after the new content drop, and I'm having a hard time finding up to date information.
Im curious how things like Jewelcrafting or Armoring, for example, will make lots of money like u say. Im 200 armoring and can craft up to 600 myself, but with all of the mats required, unless I craft a 600 with correlating perks and attributes, it sells for as low as half of the price of the mats required to craft it in the first place. So even if I craft one lvl 600 piece every 11 tries (currently, I believe I can craft 589-600 without town buff, but not 100% on that), I feel like I would still lose money in the long run. I would love to be wrong about this and be able to make lots of money, but I feel like I make more just crafting the 10 runic leathers, phoenixweaves, & asmodeums, then selling those off then I would using them to craft with. If I am wrong, plz tell me so I can start making bank. TY.
Who? Who is saying that? You're implying people have done literally everything and are complaining that there isn't anything left to do. Show me one single person because Seth has said multiple times he still has lots to do and hasn't gotten bored yet. You're either memeing or trolling
@@nickh4354 it was simply a statement aimed at sweaty players who have completed majority of the games content. Was not aimed at seph but at the people who are moving onto other games due to sinking so much time into it
Im level 60 and have been trying to farm shattered mountain, but am on at different times to most of my guild, i cant kill anything as a solo player, i have tried to ninja chests , but im pretty much getting smashed any ideas for solo players?
This video makes me really sad man, because this game's PvP is basically one huge exploit/bug/lag and the PvE Content is not existent. I was really hyped for New World, but it turned out to be a "second job" running all these Elite Areas, grinding stuff for keys and then getting exploited/lagged out in Wars. I like Alpha Testing as long as i don't have to pay for this. The actual state of the game is really really poor and i am happy that you guys as content creators are making such videos to show people what it's like to be lvl 60 in New World, it's just a daily routine grinder.
i dont no man ,we did genisis and all arena yesterday with a fresh 60 in ground no buffs and didnt stuggle once no trophys , makes it easier yeah but not at all needed
@@Sethphir Faction gear is actually really good for pvp. Especially because the crit dmg reduction trait is bugged and it counts for ALL damage reduction, not just crits :)
DO NOT take a group larger than 5 to elite zones, each person beyond 5 will only hinder your chances of getting rare items and raising your watermark. Two healers is never a bad idea for those.
@@tannerweinheimer7839 I guess you need more official numbers. Cause let's say it is 5x less likely to get rares with a party of 10 but you only do elite runs 2x as fast then no a party of 10 would be inefficient. That' why I just play it safe and run with 5.
@@sneaks9150 You ought to have said "we" need more official numbers. Because your estimate there is hyperbolic. I'm guessing 10 players is closer to 60 or 70% the drop rates of 5 people, yet you can run through twice as fast.
@@tannerweinheimer7839 That's what I mean't by "you" I meant like one would need official numbers to say definitively. Its all guessing so that's why I'm saying you shouldn't just believe more people equals better results hence why a group of low GS people would benefit having a 6th to compensate but that doesn't mean that its ideal for everyone considering a healer can solo a lot of areas for loot without even going into combat.
@@TheRed4123 aka self-centered youtuber who finds 24 minutes of content in a game that has no spine or legs in regards to even mid game. Sadly, I gave this video a view to read the comments because I laughed reading the title.
I make 10K a day just grabbing everything I come across and selling basic mats and the few crafted items that sell well (some potions, tools, bags, trophies, chests), and doing some flipping on the auction house. It's not hard, just a habit.
If you open your Inventory in the top right there is a star icon. Click that and it will sort your gear by gearscore and list the score on items in your bag.
question please if my fire staff GS 510 and i found 530 should i put it in my inventory or i delete it and will save that 530 GS fire staff can drop higher ?
At 60 you gain full weapon exp on all mobs regardless of your level difference. You can go to lower level areas and mass pull and muderate all the mobs.
@@pathwaystoadventure didnt know about this, ty. Been swesting my balls off trying to level them. I'll just stick to hatchet/GA 'til max level then and do it ez 😁
Question: is musket/hatchet viable dps for expeditions..especially some of the more difficult ones? I’m enjoying the hell out of the game but I really only enjoy those two weapons.
Ive been leveling by farming/crafting pretty much, im lvl 54 with only cutlass and half of blightwood quests complete, most stuff is 150/200 and ive been slacking off. The gold, well, its was easy making stuff in the beginning, starmetal tools profiting 600 a pop etc, prolly got 30k from that, also i couldve easely profitted 100k from the refining mat nerf but alas i was too lazy. Its really not that farfetched if you see good opportunities, you wont make lots of gold doing whatever the bigger mass of people are doing tho.
That watermark system made me drop the game once I reached 60... doing anything besides crafting is a waste of time unless you are close to maxing out your watermark..
i like the game and its pvp style of fighting, dinged 60 and now im done with the game if they dont fix alot. The game is just absolutely broken, theres so many buggs in this game that it just ruins the whole pve experience. Every dungeon is just a clusterfuck with everyone on ur team using autoclickers because ur fingers hurt from all the mb1 mashing. there are some mechanics in the dungeons but its nothing special that makes the dungeons more enjoyable. World pvp is fine. wars are actually great and fun, but its so fucking laggy for most people playing it that they cant actually have a good experience with it. outpost rush is currently disabled. the only place where u could take ur engame character to do some decent pvp\competetive game mode. most elite\boss mobs are just spunges with little to no mechanic, u can most likely push every mob in a corner and 3 ppl just activate autoclicker while one is healing, so much fun yay. this is the way to take down EVERY elite\boss mobs as a group in this game and not fail at it. had 200+ hours in the game, have no fucking idea what the game rly is about yet, thats how captivating the lore\story is.
Agreed, the end-game content is so shit, the amount of bugs is ridiculous, gear perks not working and so many game breaking bugs. Once you hit 60, you basically just farm your trade skills up which is 'hey go farm 50k of this and this' which on a high pop server is basically impossible during normal hours, since everyone is running the same routes. Nobody is really flagging for PvP since there isnt much incentive to do so once you're level 60, outpost rush would be the only saviour for me, but its disabled for weeks now. The game feels unfinished and rushed, which is surprising considering it was supposed to be released 2 years ago lol
farming\gathering becomes a hassle as soon as u get to lvl 100, after that it just becomes so annoyingly hard\take way to long time to farm things needed for recepies. 70 % of all landmarks across the map is basically copypasta. dungeons are as well mostly copypasta with some variation and layers changed from what i`ve seen. wonder when someone is gonna talk about the last boss of the "story", because thats a joke. well the game is a joke by now i guess, looks like its dying lol
What you described in your video sounds fucking awful. I'm 51 and now I'm really depresed. I guess thank you for letting me know what "fun" looks like at end game in new world. Pretty sure I won't stick around.
Best of luck on your New World content. You videoes have been incredibly informative, but AGS has botched this game in too many ways to keep playing it. It pains me to unsubscribe, but maybe I'll catch you trying something else out that's more worthwhile. Take care, man!
