I always get hype when I see you post. I used to be on CoS, and I would run GS and Hatchet too, but you would always beat my ass so hard when we'd meet in OPR, so I got real excited when I saw you had a RU-vid channel so I could copy you 🤣. Thanks for the help, and being a cool dude!
I had someone calling me an idiot for running hatchet with this setup when season 3 first dropped. It felt good carrying that lobby, and it feels good seeing you slaying with it too!
amazing video again :D Don't you think featherweight and 5 shirking heals would be better? with Heavy boots and Gloves you could have +300 armor and +300 elem resist @@Odosu
@@theo_rzr If I made a Featherweight build it would be with full defensive perks like Health, Enchanted ward, Flame/Thrust conditioning to further amplify the defensive capabilities of running Featherweight!
Yeah honestly it’s looking like a Featherweight/Unyielding angle. Depending on how much Shirking Heals will be healing for next patch I might just drop it all together and go for raw defensive perks.
Bro I tried this build and man its fun, such a power house, Ive main bow for 4.5k hours+ and the meta for bow with dots has made me not want to play it, but this build, is pure skill, love it man, im trying shirk heals with vigor
Shirking Heals set up is probably the best right now in all honesty, though I am going to work on a Featherweight set up with raw defensive perks for example, Health, Enchanted Ward, Thrust conditioning/Flame conditioning!
Yoo awesome build! I plan to run GS as my main weapon and swap between GS/Hatchet and GS/Bow. Do you think this same setup would work well with GS/Bow? Thanks!
Hey bro! So you wanna go to the faction shop and buy the gem setting pins and after that go to the gypsum kiln to upgrade serenity and the gem setting pins will count as a perk but once you upgrade it there will be an empty gem socket!
You could do 350 str, I think I was just going for the better spread I think you get higher weapon damage overall this way but the 10% in abilities and final light attack chain swing is pretty good too!
@@Odosu I did mine testing without crosscut & without dots, just face to face dmg with 100% health. #1 225str, 225dex #2 350str, 100dex #3 100str, 350dex #4 300str, 150dex All the stats are almost the same, so you could argue 350 dex is better because of the weapon swap, crit empower etc, but the split str/dex stats had way bigger difference. But I didn't test in 300str, which is in my opinion crazy big.
I wanna have this build when I reach max level. Currently lvl 18 and a new player. You deserve more subs!! The thing is I only need a greatsword now but Idk where to get one :
Don’t waste anymore than 100 coins buying a greatsword off the shop until you level 65, then just grind the PVP track until you hit Serenity! That is simply the best greatsword to use in any circumstance!
It’s so hard to fit shirking energy honestly, maybe you could drop the Health perk but that also feels bad lol so it’s really just preference, shirking energy was more useful to me when we had 40 stamina dodges but now everyone is 50 it seems less useful in my opinion
It seems decent, however with Shirking Heals set up you really just heal through the DOTs entirely if you can manage to dodge enemy attacks. Hope that helps!
GOOOD VID !! but :( for the 3 first minute i was waiting A DROPPPP MAN in the music :DDDD LIKE U know the longer we wait the harder the drop must be :D ! great vid man otherwise
I'm using the same build however I've gone full Enchanted ward + Health + Shirking energy/Refreshing, hoping that shirking heals will get nerfed xD I am also using the featherweight + Heavy head and arms, light legs and feet, you get about 40% more base armor in light. Sick plays.
Yeah Shirking Heals is just way too good right now with Tumblers + Ankh set up! I will be looking to make a build with Featherweight as well! Potentially even some of the others like Unyielding, Djinn Headwrap, Attuned Leather Pants, Nimble coat. It’s all just so heavily time gated so I wanted this build to be my foundation.
Yeah honestly now Berserking out of stuns is very situational, you want to pop berserk before fights happen or dodge berserk dodge without animation cancelling so you don’t waste berserk, and as for swapping it out with fetal rush, I haven’t tried it and I don’t really think I will, berserk is just too good to pass up even without animation cancelling. You can’t get javelin pulled with berserk up and you don’t even have to dodge it lol
I use Powerful Honing Stone, Carrot Cake, and Desert Sunrise, and Zephyr cakes which can be bought inside OPR! You can definitely do 350 str 100 dex, both are fine I think 150 dex just gives you more weapon damage from the tighter attribute split, but maybe the 10% ability damage is better, not entirely sure! I've tried both and they both seem fine so feel free to use whichever you prefer :)
@@Odosu yep it was so OP before. I know your philosophy is all damage all the time, but do you think adding trenchant recovery to GS instead of gem and some life steal on gear/jewelry could help supplement the missing SH? Seems like dmg is pretty cracked and I’ve been running a hatched with plagued crits to mitigate the off set in dmg.
@@PhilosHavlicek I’m not sure if you can add trenchant recovery, and honestly we just have to wait until season 4 for the health potions to come back to normal instead of it being -20% weaker in opr
THE KING MELEE ODOSU HIMSELF... HOLY MAN YOU ARE DESTROYING IT BRO.... Imagine if 3:32 was in real life 3 ppl trying to avoid you killing their team mates and the cant even get close to you ahahah... amazing scene brother...
I believe it is but I still think it's 100% worth it for assassins, maybe not so much for a bruiser but for max damage yeah runeglass is probably better than regular gems in your armor, at least in my opinion!
hey, i love your build but i'm not a big fan of attunement on the hatchet, the cooldown feels too long in theory with the fast attack speed of the hatchet so the final damage bonus isnt that great keenly empowered also feels weird, 10% empowered with 50% uptime at best is decent but there might be better options i use vicious, keen berserk and lifestealing on my hatchet (with ankh + leeching on ring instead of purifying heart) what do you think about that ?
I think Vicious Keen Berserk and Lifestealing sounds good for a brawler set up, maybe in medium? But I prefer as much damage as possible and this is for sure the most optimal unless you go for a full backstab build but for me that is just too conditional, with this Hatchet I'm using it's probably the most well rounded in terms of overall DPS.
Most competitive companies won’t really slot light melees but if possible I would try to stay light melee in wars, though ideally you would replace Tumblers with Featherweight since you’d have a pocket healer, and also replace shirking heals with defensive perk like Thrust/flame conditioning!
Holy shit dude, i just came back after a long ass break i always was a bow rapier player but i wanna switch now for sure! I have to start basicly from start i dont haveany tradeskills any tips on focusing perks first and pieces first? Ward 0/? Shirking 0/? Heals 0/? Thanks in advance
Hey welcome back! I would say if you’re running shirking heals, try to get as many as possible to make the heals per dodge as big as possible, and probably go for health 2nd and enchanted ward last, it will be pretty expensive to craft those specific perks on armor since it doesn’t drop naturally unless you get lucky from the PVP track, though there is a free set for light medium and heavy! And if you’re planning on playing greatsword, make sure you have the perk “Relentless Freedom” on any of your armor pieces. It’s mandatory!
Why slash damage on the ring and not more crit? Love your content. Currently I think about to make my gear, I saw you play with nature and thunder dmg on your gem slot, I am not sure maybe just to play nature with nature harnessing. What do you think? Better have more different elemental dmg or focus on one like nature?
The reason I use Nature and Lightning is so when I swap weapons it will stack both runeglass dots, if they’re both the same runeglass it won’t stack, but if you are going to run Nature Harnessing and Nature runeglass in your armor and maybe even a nature ring, it could be worth. I prefer flat damage over crit chance since it’s more consistent and more slash damage will inherently make my crits stronger than more crit chance would. Hope that helps!
Featherweight is probably better if you have a healer, but Tumblers allows you to go crazy even without a healer. With how heavy they needed potions in OPR + Ankh reducing your potions, Tumblers with Shirking Heals gear is just top tier in my opinion!
@@Odosu Weight, do you say the super light artifact pectoral? Does it also come with Refreshing and Physical Aversion? Oh, just add Shirking Heals? And what would I put in the boot? Shirking Heals, what about the other two?
@@Mugetsu-95 No problem hope it works for you! This was the video I used to achieve my settings ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Ow6gq5Mku9E.html
god tier melee gameplay. 1 question is that i dont see you heavy attack that often. It's usually relentless + first 2 quick hits on crosscut that secure kills. Would a enchanted keenly emp attunment gs be better when we reply on ability damage? Or any damage perk? Sure it is satisfying to see that one 8k heavy but that rarely happens. I'm wondering what your take on this.
Definitely use Serenity at all times if you ever equip a Greatsword, even if you aren't heavy attacking all the time, the Artifact passive is good enough on its own, and if you are able to land heavies with Relentless rush empower, Onslaught, and dodge empower, you'll pretty much be at max empowerment anyways so its not necessary to have keenly empowered though it would provide higher uptime on total empower. I wouldn't switch off Serenity no matter what variation of Greatsword I'm playing though! Hope that helps :)
Couple questions about the hatchet...what are your thoughts on attunement with plagued crits in the current meta? Healing is kinda out of control atm. Also would you always take empowered over jagged?
Plagued crits wouldn’t be bad since most players are running some shirking heals / ankh and it would even be good against life staffs, potions, etc. I just prefer max damage at all times so yeah I would always take keenly empower over keenly jagged, jagged can be easily healed through is the only issue I have with it!
@@Odosu Great vid bro! What do you think of the announced SH/Tumbler Feet nerfs? Will it make SH dependant builds not viable anymore? Or it would still be fine? (SH fix because the maths behind it wasnt correct, and Tumbler's Shirking will have a cooldown)
I made a new video with the same build! It definitely is heavily nerfed but still what I’d prefer since self healing is so weak at the current moment and anything helps!
It's pretty hard to fit it into the build and with 40 stamina dodges being removed from the game, it seems like useful since you won't really be able to spam dodge as often as you could before, would be nice to have but you'd have to drop either a shirking heals, health, or enchanted ward perk.
I will never understand how people crit soo high! I can barely hit anyone over 3k :( I am 697 almost all BiS gear for my build and I do no damage. I might try this though, GS was always fun!
Harbinger Light Chest from Scorchvein Supply Guards and Scorchvein Snipers in mines at Shattered Mountain, it is pretty hard to get but grind it enough and it will drop eventually, there's a whole set for light medium and heavy!
Yeah it's annoying to get but luckily I'm in a company that does company worm raids, so I've gotten quite a good chunk from the raids, OPR, and salvaging my old legendary gear that I had a huge stockpile of from previous seasons of OPR crates, dungeons, etc.
its basically bis. the pen backstab really hurts when u get the opportunity to backstab people. u can upgrade it to 700 at kiln and change to maybe attunement. Idk what perk might be better than attune..@@Mauywowie
It is crazy the amount of self sustain you have with a shirking heals set up! Though the build is not limited to any particular class, so while it is really good, anyone can run it!
@@kyleswrath There is a full set of Light, Medium, and Heavy gear with Health and shirking heals you can obtain from the PVP track, the 3rd perk is either Refreshing, Refreshing Evasion, or Refreshing Ward, based off which armor weight you’re using! Ideally you’d replace any of the refreshing variants with enchanted ward for more defensive capabilities rather than having more cooldown reduction!
@@Odosu yeah but for huge dps build is more strong cause u can have in a single build high dmg and high sustain. If a tank run it he will be undefeatable but he still cannot do high dmg, he improve only one aspect, meanwhile u can do all. In my opinion Shirking heals should not exist.
Great intro, keep testing your build on arrow, I think it’s good idea to get more viewer’s attention. Let’s go beyond 285 subscribers! By the way, we need louder in-game sounds
*Dies to any ranged or build that applies slow* Sad, many such cases, maybe next season assassin bros >swipes credit card for BiS Still not viable assassin bros... >oh but I ganked arrowli Good job man that was surely difficult to achieve ! you can print the screenshot and put him above your bed to remember it everyday
