Nice! In terms of progression, just play the main story quests and do some side quests as you go and you should get to max level fairly quickly. Don't worry too much about gear when levelling and just play what you think is fun!
I think I've changed it a few times. Started with thrust protection, then shield rush. Now they have allowed enchanted ward on shields, I would prob use that, or slash/thrust protection.
terrible shield no refreshing move when pairing w butcher only semi decent maybe if final savage divide fight round shields kite shields and even a decently rolled Nightveil shield is far better
