I love that fishing is a lot more targetable and not specifically through hot spots too. I think I’m going to have to start running some fishing routes. The one thing I’ve always felt odd about fishing is how, while pulling in the same fish, the tension changes constantly and I just feel it should feel more consistent or have a sweet spot; but seems completely random and also makes me wonder if the tension perks even do anything. I know you fish so much you might have noticed the tension perks make a difference?

Thanks for the fishing update! I can't seem to get close enough to fish in the 2 star spot on SW coast of Brimstone. Am I doing something wrong or do I just need 3-5 gear with cast boosts?

Been fishing oyster for a few days since the fishing update, instead of a bunch of oyster and fish fillet I got a bunch of legendary fish to the point what I gonna do with this. hahaha

In ur other video's table, you said 1star hotspot are 0 luck so the same as open water? but I've been fishing in WW's 1star freshwater spot with max luck and caught more legendaries and blue fish than green with firefly/prem firefly.... how is that possible? that should never happen, what is going on? it feels like that 1 star=2star in terms of luck right now, cuz that's the results I'm getting, no... nvm is even worse, cuz in 2 stars ur supposed to still get more green with max luck, I'm about to switch to my 3 star setup cuz this is insane bad luck (or insane good luck in the eye's of the game). I don''t even want to run the numbers but catching a legendary in 1star/open water should be single digit %, well out of 10 casts (yes I know low samplesize) I got 6 Blue-Winged Serpe, 2 Sculpin, 1 Snail, 1 Salmon, this is either winning the lottery 6 times in a row type of luck or the hotpost base luck was increased tremendously, but it can't cuz I caught a grey fish (for worse cuz legendary/blue fish in the area suck, we want them greens). The only thing I can think of is, there's a quota of legendaries per hour or x amount of time and if they haven't been caught in that territory, they all accumulate and get pushed infront of the line's pool table so when someone with max luck arrives (me) and starts fishing they have a ridiculuous amount of incresed % to get caught, hence my first 6 casts were 4 of that specific territory legendary fish, OR since that's the only fresh water hotspot in ww since the removal of the 3 star it might've manually received increased luck, whatever it is something is not working as intended. edit: 20 casts: 11 Winged Serpe, 3 sculpin, 3 snail, 1 sturgeon, 2 salmon , I'll do 30 casts to get a bigger samplesize and leave, cuz I'm wasting my time here. edit: 30 casts: 13 Winged Serpe, 2 Sodden Rubish, 3 Sculpin, 4 Snail, 1 Sturgeon, 3 Salmon, 2 Pyke , 1 Perch, 1 Sunfish , This hotspot is insanely whack, these last 10 casts I suddendly start getting more grey, sodden/trasure chest that I didn't get a single one 25 casts prior, but still gave me 2 more winged inbetween greys. Definitely I conclude there's something broken in this hotspot and I won't be testing anymore, I don't need more convincing. When my 30 casts should look more of something along the lines of 15 grey, 10 green, 4 blue/treasure, 1 legendary, I basically got the opposite outcome of what's expected.
