One weird thing about months in the statistic where it says (Jul 1181 - Dec 1102) at 6:24 could be seen at 0.25 playback speed, it's most likely a glitch that has to do with single-player starting months timing. If you open single-player and start a game it will show Jul 1181 as your starting month and so in crusader trail's statistics, it happened to show these wrong starting months everytime, but mission ending months are right for some reason.
And here I am building an economy to mount pushes of 50 knights 50 swordsman 10 catapults and hundreds of horse archers. Turns out all I had to do was spam some assassins
In case anyone doesn't fully get how this works, he puts houses on the places where the AI would build his Mercenary post/Barracks so they can't train any military units, pretty much removing any kind of difficulty the map would otherwise have. I get it's a speedrun but it should've been patched by now, I don't know why the developers stopped polishing this still awesome game, well whatever.
@@LEONSKENNEDY91 There are buildings that you can build no matter how far, like woodcutter's hut. you can build very close to enemies at the start of the game when they have barely any buildings.
I used to get through the early missions by just market rushing macemen. I don't know why it never occurred to me to use assassins. It's a shame it's so easy to cheese the AI by blocking their ability to build though. I wonder what this speedrun would look like if you couldn't build within X tiles of an enemy keep.
@@mansoorahmad4408 He tricked the game into thinking that the iron mine was idle even though it wasn't, therefore giving the mine more miners than it should, resulting in ridiculous amount of iron bars
Hey TWO THINGS to point out -There is nothing more wholesome to watch the AI allies happy after a victory -It's damn SCARY and sad to see such brutal MURDERS that the lords are sending messages after they are already dead, it's like you are being haunted by their restless souls :(
No, thats the newest one. The Thing is, there are some buildings you can build anywhere, like for example woodcutters or statues. He is placeing them in to the castles of the AI, so they dont have any oppotunity to build any new troups... This is just an exploit and i dont recommend anyone playing that great Game Like that If you want to have fun. The Game is full of bugs and if you use them, the game becomes way Zoo easy and makes No Fun anymore.
@@valentin6824 yeah, well it was worse before...well one thing that was really fun is putting wolf cages in enemy bases and letting them loose, that used to be hilarious, but doesn't work in the newest version.
Statues are positive fear factor that gives troop combat bonus; makes army stronger. +5 fear factor is maximum you can have. So in this case I make enough statues to reach the highest +5 fear factor for my troops to fight as well as possible (25% harder). And I build granary so that my popularity wouldn't go down below 95 and start gaining peasants slower than it should with 95+ popularity. Here's more info about it: stronghold.fandom.com/wiki/Fear_Factor
я прошел игру сам . Решил пройти еще раз подумал найти гайды вдруг есть способ легче . Теперь игра стала просто скучной ... спасибо я удалил игру аххахахахх
Hi there, can u pls explain how assasins have time to run b4 enemy make some army. I tried to repeat your moves but in most cases enemy alredy have some army so they def my assasins easily. I noticed you use the command stop when your assasins run to enemy castle, is it some glitch or what?
I use the stop command for two apparent reasons: for fast assassins to realign whenever Im close to the opponent so they don't go on enemy walls, or spread them to the way you want by setting a flag (n & 4 or ctrl+n & 4 if you don't want your screen to move) which in this case was used to improve my speed. In expert gameplay it's commonly used for sneaking purposes.
It's on private. One of the songs was muted by copyrights along with game sounds so I replaced it and reuploaded the video. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Sands of Time: Did you consider blocking the wall in frontkeep of the blue rat? Could you improve your run with that, and use less assassins on it to recruit macemen faster? Also why not sent out Lordy at the start to the orange rat, does it get there in time to 1 v 1? could improve by maybe 5-10 peasants on the maceman rush Rivers of blood: maybe increase speed by less troops with positive fear factor? Coconut Grove: Could you block frontwall of pig, would be faster? then you safe some seconds on the run around with the macemen i think in some missions you could get away with not slowing to 20 but to 30-40 maybe because you still are faster than the peasants spawning Anyways, would you like to speedrun my Christmas Calender aswell? :D Starting the first of December i ll put out a map every day. They should be a bit more challengign than this for people. Obviously speedrunning is different if the challenge provided is more difficult!
Blocking the wall in frontkeep of the blue rat would maybe kill it faster but it still would be not in time along with the orange rat unless you used less assassins. But the more troops you got, the faster you kill. And I don't think Lord would be useful here since you kill all of them in pretty much the same time. Increase speed by less troops with positive fear factor? I technically could do that, but some of the rats do destroy the barracks pretty fast even if you build hovels in the space of it, and I was concerned that I didn't get the hovels placement right. Apart from all that I could of done 10 troops sufficiently for each AI. Blocking frontwall of pig would actually be a little bit faster if you killed the other ones fast enough, but it's really hard to avoid little mistakes on any single trifle especially when you have to go fast and long. 20 gamespeed is what I prefer to potentially avoid making extra mistakes that can get you stuck.
@@HuffeIpuffer in every speedrun video there is always someone complaining "bug should not be allowed" etc eventhough video title clearly included "Any%". Breaking the game and using glitch is a skill in itself.
@@janaspengler4169 breaking the game is a skill in itself. If you say something is pointless, video game itself is pointless. What's the point of playing pixellated little creature? Glitchless speedrun exist if you dont like glitches, but any% speedrun (eventhough this one is not any% since he doesnt utilize chicken) is a community in itself, it is fun to find new way to break the game to find the ending the fastest. No one is under the illusion that they are playing so skillful they finish the game quickly, rather they have expert understanding in game. All this talk about purposeless, pointless speedrun if its done with glitch? I ask you what the hell is the purpose of video game? Fun. You put the purpose yourself, other put them theirselves and they make a community out of that purpose (finishing the game ASAP with a set of rules, while permitting glitches). If it's pointless to you, go to the glitchless section. There are millions of people who think video game is pointless, they don't say speedrunning is defeating the purpose.
I agree with you. The Thing is, that this Game has so many Exploits which are not intended... Just the fact that you can build woodcutters into their castles to make sure they dont get any new troups is an exploit... If you want to Break the Game Like that you can, but i do not recommend doing that if you want to have fun with this great Game.
