Thank you to the wonderful Dave Kerr for being the voice of Akaiyo! You may know Dave from voicing many monsters such as Furcorn, Screemu and Whajje. It was an honour to work with him! I’ve tried to improve the looping of the previous animations so hopefully they look better now, and I’ll try to keep improving things as the series continues. I am new to animating and am still learning.
Fanmade Bio: The silky smooth shell of the Akaiyo has been a subject of lots of discussion recently. No one knows for sure how its shell manages to maintain its obsidian-like gleam, but some suggest it uses its sparse head hair to clean it. Another debated subject of the Akaiyo is if it really has two mouths, or just a singular mouth. In reality, these debates are pointless when the real show here is the powerful chants the Akaiyo shouts which gives it its name.
Now THIS is a bio, most fans either make short as hell bios, boring bios with little interesting information about the monster in question or gender them despite being species, not individuals (and not having any good or important reasons for being an individual even if they could be one). You on the other hand made a bio that felt very real and akin to the style of wording BBB often gives to their bios.
I can’t believe it…you’ve managed to get the one, and only… DAVE FLIPPING KERR, one of the *_ORIGINAL_* major VAs of MSM, to voice one of your new Wublins! That’s a very impressive feat within itself! Amazing job to the both of you, and to Dave Kerr especially, for his small, but BIG cameo for the new Wublin, Akaiyo!
one minor thing is you can’t really hear Turhi well in track 2 of Akaiyo, but I’m still really excited to see where this series is going as it’s making an already good island better.
That's so cool! I can't believe you actually got one of the original developers to work with you! Congrats! By the way, the song is getting so good with all of these monsters, I can't believe that it's not crowded yet!
I appreciate your commitment to sticking to the same format that msm uses with its sprite sheets (no hyper smooth animations since you're using a separate sprite for each- in this instance- mouth frame) it really adds to the official feeling of the monsters!
Hey it wasn't rare reewynd, I'm surprised! The fact you got dave to voice this is just absolutely epic, he really sings his heart out! Sounds like he's singing about a pretty famous wrestling move tho..

By simply seeing this monster, it looks like it is vocal. (because of Dave Kerr) Honestly, Dave is the best and your animation ( I hope.) and your design make it the best. Keep it up!!! 👍👏👌
WHAT *_WHAT_* track 2 sounds really good fanmade stuff: bio: Akaiyos are built to handle the hardest challenges, the roughest dares, the loudest gatherings... well, maybe not that last one. Akaiyos actually don't like loud sounds, but on Wublin Island, they're more than glad to join in the song! It is true that their sound does come from an unusual part of their body, they use it to their advantage as they can wag their tail up to really stand out from the crowd, but it does have to relax every once in a while, not every monster can handle the craziness of Wublin Island for so long.. but their soundproof shell makes it very easy to fall sound asleep! inventory: 8x pummel, 5x shellbeat, 10x drumpler, 4x thumpies, 12x fwog, 10x potbelly, 2x quarrister, 2x congle 8 days to fill
I have a good idea for a wublin. So he will have a slide on his back and a had on his tail and the monster would turn the slide up and down making its sound. I would most likely enjoy the monster being a lizard with two legs
There is no way that Akaiyo is voiced by Dave Kerr. I didn't know It was part of the fact that how being MSM Fan works. He voiced your wublin for you! That is because you're The Greatest of All Time! 😃
