pretty colors, not so the yarn. not a fan of the more (DELICATE) yarns like chenille, eyelash etc.

I have tried crocheting with chenille yarn and it's too difficult for me and too thick result. Nice colors though!

Great review, Juan. I don't use bulky yarn very often but that yarn is gorgeous. I could envision pairing the Holly Jolly colorway with the parfait glittery yarn for holiday decor of some type.

I have never been a big fan of wearing chenille sweaters, hated picking off the residual fuzz left on my skin! BUT! I could see using this for other applications such as hats and scarfs and those amiguri (sp) characters! Definitely yummy, and my sweet tooth is screaming at me to buy some gumdrops! Thanks for a great review, I will be checking out Premier Yarns.

I wouldn’t be able to use the gumdrop and Parfait yarns, they are are pretty but my youngest kitty will chew on them, she doesn’t bother my acrylics. Could you do a tutorial of your granny square for those of us that have trouble with them?

Hi, Juan. New subscriber here. Enjoyed your trial of gumdrop. A nice colorway they have put out, as for me the only thing i didnt care for is the yardage, a bulky 6 will work up tall and fast though. Thanks again for showing. 😊😊

I ordered some of the parfait chunky, glitz, and bunny the other day for some Amigurumi. Can’t wait to see how well they work up. All of the Gum drop look amazing but I do love the blues most 😂💙🩵

Living in Florida, not a whole lot of need for chenille, however, I've gotten it in mystery boxes & it does make wonderful chemo/preemie/baby beanies! Have to admit, tho, while the colors here are gorgeous, I'm not a fan of the abrupt color changes.

I find that if I take the ball band off, I have a better chance of getting the yarn to center pull. After a few rounds, it's easy to slide the ball band back on. Just a thought for you, especially since you have larger hands and fingers. 🤔 Thx for the review! 😊👍🧶

Colors are great. This yarn is not for me. I do not like bulky yarn and the chenille just doesn’t do it for me.

Juan, you are so fun to watch. Your love for your mom and the beautiful things you make keep me returning. I have a question for you. I'm a new crocheter and I know this is going to be a lifetime habit for me. My birthday is coming up and my significant other wants to buy me the best crochet hooks. I do have arthritis and some days I can't do much with my hands, but I do try to make up for it on the better days. What hooks are the best, in your opinion?

When I use a new hook sometimes it feels kinda sticky, the yarn doesn’t slide right. After a while it smooths in and slides nicer. So, give that first hook another try.
