I really love lisimsie's blue suburban houses, but I think it would be so fun if simsie used a random pack generator that would generate 1 expansion pack, 1 game pack, 1 stuff pack and 1 kit pack. It would be so cool to see how she'd decorate a house using random packs.

Honestly, I love your blue suburbans, the thing I'm usually less a fan of is the "on a budget/basegame" aspect of some of them. It tends to be slightly too repetitive which is a shame 'cause Simsie KNOWS how to build very cool houses with no pack restrictions and no budget restrictions.

I have no problem with a blue suburban, they're fun!.But you addressed the problem when you said "trying to build base game and usd a budget means they all look the same" which is true!! You have all the packs, just use them. It's not as fun when you restrict both the packs and the budget everytime, and the houses would look different if you allowed yourself more options.

A video idea in the future could be touring your blue suburbans, or remodeling your early ones with some of the new packs. Love your blue suburbans though, especially since I live in one in real life!

Maybe you could try some traditional houses from other cultures and countries? Like your blue suburban is not anywhere in The Netherlands, it's all brick houses with large windows and orange or black shingles. Might be fun to try sometime!

i come from the land of blue suburbans. They’re EVERYWHERE where i live. girlie you make like the most beautiful blue suburbans omg. (edit): i’d also like to add that houses like these really feel like home to me. you always see these like big mansions and modern builds but like for someone with autism it’s really nice to see something your used to. I do love modern builds, but there’s something so comforting about a blue & beige suburban. :) i’ve lived in houses like these all my life and they’re so cozy and homey. 10/10 recommend. i think my house is probably lilsimsies dream house lol. I live in a cozy lil bungalow built in the 20’s with original hardwood floors, original wooden accents and lots of nice suburban feels. unfortunately it’s not blue lol. ❤ ALSO: houses like these are usually a lot smaller than this. it would be really cool to see simsie make one more realistic to the american suburb areas. :) my bathroom is really tiny, you can barely fit the essentials in there lol. and there’s only one. like you just KNOW these are those rich neighbors with the annoying kids lmao. Poverty is pretty common here.

you see a lot of those big multistory family homes here in the PNW, but they're often like, embedded in a hill somehow because nothing is flat here! so you get a house like this but the first story is actually downstairs because the way the terrain worked they had to sink the entire thing to make it fit with the road, for example. My dad grew up in a house sort of like that and for me if you knew anybody who was middle class or higher as a kid this is the sort of house they had! They're very sturdy when it's windy and rainy.

The striped rug is one of my favorites. Especially from Base Game. The color swatches make it versatile enough to go in just about any room.

I think you should embrace the blue suburban joke. I don't think anyone minds blue suburbans as a concept, people just don't like the same basegame furniture every time. Blue suburban trolls with super modern furniture inside, or everything being literally blue, or being one pack only would be fun.

Homes built by developers are similar to this style. Simple, affordable and fast to build. The only thing missing is a 25×25 2 car garage. I hope the new version of The Sims has cars making it more true to life.

While I’m not a fan of the base game only / starter house budget blue suburbans, what I do like is they’re great family homes and great to download and then remodel myself! They have good bones to them. I have a good number of packs and it’s still hard to find houses I can download on the gallery

I would personally like to thank Simsie for her videos on how to use build/buy mode cheats, I never thought that I would need to use them but I started playing sims on laptop when the game went free and she was a life saver

I can't build north american blue sub-urban houses because the houses here look different. I struggle to build houses that fit in the willow creek style, and watching your videos helps me get a hang of it. You really shine when you build these houses that have become a core part of your brand. They help maintain your trademark style. I woud like to see you build a few houses in the Amsterdam channel style--that's what I've been doing.

The issue everyone has is not with building blue suburbans, it’s the budget, pack restrictions, and overall same layout and furniture. Blue suburban doesn’t mean everything insides the house HAS to be blue, white and brown. People can still download the house if there’s a pack they don’t have, all they have to do is substitute the stuff they don’t have and also there’s so many other base game houses. All the blue suburban houses are base game and it’d be nice to see an unlimited pack blue suburban, and not only base game or a base game + one other pack. I watch Kayla for her, not necessarily what she uploads but it’s just a thought.

I stg, people are always going off about how Kayla should build what she wants instead of doing budget or base game builds, but ignore that she LIKES making base game budget builds. I really don't get why people are acting as if she's somehow constraining herself when she has repeatedly said that a lot of the other builds are out of her comfort zone and she LIKES these. Especially bc it isn't as if they can't just skip the video if they don't like it. She has a ton of other videos that you can watch that aren't blue suburbans. She shouldn't have to justify wanting to build one to us.
