Happy New Year everybody and welcome to this little getaway *sul Lago d'Iseo*, in the NORTH OF ITALY!
We took three days off to say goodbye to 2021 and celebrate a new beginning, while surrounded by incredible places and happy, happy thoughts. Fun, warm weather, a bunch of weird traditions and OMG THE FOOD chef's kiss

Ciao ciao huh? Remember saying that to a Brazilian worker in LV to be nice & she said she’d reply by saying hello, lol….don’t think she liked it but it didn’t bother me as I come from a culture that has over 1,000 different languages and more heritage in one district than one country in entirety. Sometimes it’s better not to say anything about foreign culture but keep close to your own indigenous one….nice to know that many in our culture respect and look after culture so our future generation don’t feel like they have no culture of their own and need to assimilate to a foreign one 😊👊

Beautiful place! Happy New Year 🥳. Hmm in America we kiss at midnight and toast champagne. And even tho I’m in Chicago we watch “ the ball drop” in New York City Time Square on TV pretty much every year

Traditions I'm familiar with in the U.S. are the kiss at midnight and then on New Year's Day you eat lentils, black eyed peas, collard greens (or any leafy green) and pork. I'm sure there are more foods, but that's what I grew up doing.
