I am officially a die hard fan…..your talking about shaving off minutes and I’m like nooo the longer the better! For some reason I can not get enough. My entire family knows Mommys favorite show and it’s YOUR CHANNEL ! I always look forward to new posts…and after I’m done watching the new video, I end up just watching old videos from years ago weeks ago reruns whatever. Your on my tv daily all day just a running loop of Kimberly Whissssk. RU-vid will ask me “continue watching” like stop asking me that RU-vid of COURSE I want to continue. Your just always in the background…I love your tips, I love your recipes l. I LOVE how relatable you are for me as a mom and just a person in general. Yes! You add the chicken skin in your stock. It will add fat but the skin is full of COLLEGEN! So add it. Also you can use your pressure cooker to make your bone broth. It's quicker than the stove top, it's 3-4 hours vs 12 on the stove top. The slow cooker works too. I don't use my pressure cooker often but it's my go to for stock because the results are great - I get the gelatinous stuff everytime.everything. chill your stock before you use or freeze and the fat will all rise to the top.

I keep the skin in for flavor too. Also my MIL stuffs her turkey with citrus lemons and oranges and when I used the turkey carcass for broth I left the citrus with it. And it added just enough flavor to make that broth amazing! It made the best soup. I’m afraid I won’t be able to replicate it until next Thanksgiving!😂

Kim, I've been a subscriber for quite a while now and I really enjoy your joyful spirit. I've never commented, but feel compelled to write you about the whole " wash vs risk it" when it comes to washing produce. I used to be guilty of occasionally "testing" a grape at the grocery store to make sure we got a good bunch, etc. That was until this past year when I became very sick. I had terrible stomach pain, lethargy and weight loss. After an upper endoscopy, I was diagnosed with an extreme case of H. pylori and let me tell you, the treatment to get rid of it was brutal at best. While we don't know what caused me to get this infection, I am now very mindful of washing my produce with care. H. pylori is no joke and you don't build up an immunity to it. Besides, I love those slo-mo strawberry washing clips in your vlogs. I pray for God's best blessings to you and your sweet family in this new year.❤

Bahn mi usually has pickled carrots, onion and daikon radish. If you google it you'll see how quick and easy it is to make and really makes a difference in the taste of the sandwich.

Yeah, I definitely tasted that they were pickled while I ate it in the restaurant but I didn’t go through the extra effort to pickle them myself!

next time you're peeling your rotisserie chickens up and you have the skin - put them between two baking sheets in the oven at 300 degrees until theyre flat and crispy. sprinkle on your salads and snack on them and all the delicious salty chickeny goodness will be yours and youve wasted nothing of the bird.

Throw all the chicken leftovers bones, skin, all of it in a pot with an onion, celery, carrot boil the life out of it. Run thru a sieve and chill overnight. In the morning skim off any fat and you will have the best bone broth around. You can do this with turkey carcass also.

💜🧡💚If you have muscle milk bottles, hang on to a few. Wash and re-use them, using the bulk powder. They can still be convenient, you just have to prep them for the kids. Grab them from the fridge and shake them up. I also do that with plastic 14 Oz iced tea bottles and LIQUID IV. Shake them up, add ice and go. Keeps the H2O bottle rotation low when you have dedicated recycled bottles for certain drinks.💚🧡💜

The rice wine vinegar taste in the Bahn Mi is actually from pickling daikon radish and the carrots. It sets the whole thing over the edge and it’s super simple!

THe salad roll you made is called a Bahn Mi and here in Australia you can have either roast pork, chicken or Beef, then its pickled carrots , thin strips of cucumber, mayo, and a secret type of pate then chilli and to finish it off a squirt of either soy sauce or seasoning sauce like Maggi . Then heaps of coriander or what you call Cilantro. It is so refreshing and delicious and cheap.

You are the woman across the room!! Loved your outfits! All of your food creations look delicious! Wolfgang baby bops… precious and living in the moment is hard when you have littles. I was the same as you !! We have so much in common… im now an empty nester and to be honest it is still hard to sit and relax when your a people pleaser and loving mom. You still don’t stop, maybe slow down a tiny bit because of my medical issues but your energy and focus is on other things. Self care is easier to do for sure!! Totally agree with using an instapot to make broth. So so easy! Save those scraps, keep a freezer bag continually going in your freezer.

Just also finished making stock from my rotisserie chicken. I add the skin to the pot because I will put the cooled stock in fridge overnight and then remove the layer of fat in the morning. The skin has alot of flavor.

I have been doing the chicken stock thing with the rotisserie chickens as well. You can’t beat that price! None to waste!!I I froze it in mason jars, used them in soup. Was fantastic!

I use the skins for the broth because there is good flavor there. After I make the broth, I put in fridge so the fat congeals and I can remove it. Then I either can or freeze it.

The skin adds extra flavor. I make my chix bone broth in my instapot. Don't forget to add a tablespoon of cider vinegar to help get the collagen out of the bones.
