I was responsible for the model of spinel, visible between 2:38-2:43. Knowing just how much work went into that one model alone gives me some appreciation of the massive scale of the work, effort and skill that went into this exhibition. Looking forward to visiting it someday - the whole exhibition looks stunning.

I haven't been to the museum in almost 40 years , and now im living outside NY state , but I'll never forget the gem room it was always my favorite section of the museum . I wished you spent more time in there and longer on certain exhibits , but a very enjoyable video nonetheless , thanks very much for sharing it with us all .

Not much of a walking tour, when you fail to show the beautiful exhibits and instead rush through and focus on maps and walls. I was interested in seeing the beautiful stones and gems, not wide angle views of display cases and walls and signs.
