Congratulations on selling your first day, that must feel really good. :-) That postcard stop at Chelsea would have grabbed me all day. I collect vintage postcards in odd lots and end up with the most amazing things. They say so much about culture and are great jumping off points for making art. Thanks for sharing!

Congratulations on selling two pieces on opening night of the show. So fantastic you got to see some amzing works of art at Moma and the Guggenhiem. I loved the really diverse mix of art that was in the show with you and glad you got to network and make new connections and gain some future oppertunities. Wondeful that your Mum got to be on this trip with you too.The thrifting looked fun and yeilded some treasures. @@flanzella So great Picasso's La Dameselles" was there and Magritte and Cezanne,I agree Hannah Klimt's art is really stunning too.The clay robots looked cute.Moma and Guggenheim are my two favourite museums as well.Sounds like the show gave you a lot to take forward on your creative path too (Matt) p.s a collage artist I follow here on RU-vid and pintrest called Fox Carlson,has just started selling collage kits,might be worth maybe doing an exchange with him and maybe a collaboration

Thank you for sharing this amazing trip! I'm happy you checked out the museums and shared your visits. Hilma Klimt was such a fascinating person as well as artist! 5:30 Magritte is one of my favorites 6:25 and 6:31. I remember the Guggenheim as a kid and was fascinated by the spiral layout 😄 Sorry it was closed for your visit. Your setup looked wonderful! Happy you made some sales. I'm sure it was a very exciting and nerve wracking experience overall. Glad you learned a lot and glad your mom could accompany you.

Hilma was WAY ahead of her time, my goodness. What a story. I'm glad you spotted some you know! Yes, lots of stress leading up to it but it felt unnecessary once there. It was overall so fantastic. I've learned so much!
